In other words, Trump's pledge for a 3 to 4 percent GDP has already happened on the lower end (3%). All Obama had to do in his last two years, was to lower business taxes and reduce the regulator standards, but this economy would have been his economy. Period. But he refused to give Big Business that consideration, and "1.8% GDP" became his legacy for the entire 8 years of his administration.

In March of 2018, Trump announced sanctions againt 19 Russians and five Russian agencies. OF COURSE HE MISSPOKE.

The Washington Post‘s Christopher Ingraham is the latest reporter to tweet erroneous information about President Donald Trump, only to provide a (much less viral) clarification after a fact check spoiled his fantasy of “out in the open” Russian collusion.

Ingraham, a data reporter for the Jeff Bezos-owned newspaper, claimed Russian hackers first targeted members of the Clinton campaign following candidate Trump’s joke about retrieving the former Secretary of State’s deleted emails. Ingraham made this connection based on a passage in the Justice Department’s indictment of 12 Russian intelligence operatives.

[It was a joke - the request to Russia and the investigation]

“Russia, if you’re listening, I hope you’re able to find the 30,000 emails that are missing,” Trump quipped during a July 27, 2016 press conference. Ingraham saw that same date in the indictment PDF and leaped into action to connect the dots (which the Special Counsel did not): “that evening, Russian operatives targeted Clinton campaign emails ‘for the first time.'”
Ingraham then laid out the conspiracy theory, in case anyone missed the implication: “Trump called on Russia to hack the Clinton campaign, and they . . . . . .

He is a Democrat, appears on all networks including CNN and Fox, and is willing to admit to a fraud, whether that be in the GOP or in his own party. . . . . falsehoods [on both sides of the aisle] pale in comparison to the performances of a series of “deep state” witnesses who have combined chutzpah with balderdash, culminating so far in the testimony of FBI agent Peter Strzok.

Let’s review just some of the highlights.
Former FBI Director James Comey maintained he did not make any decision on the email investigation of former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton until after Hillary Clinton’s interview, even though his conclusion memo was written, edited and watered down months in advance of his announcement. We have all of the timing, the drafts of the memo, and the dates and times of the edits.
Former CIA head John Brennan denied he supplied the Steele dossier on Trump to then-Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid in the face of mounting evidence that he did precisely that and, at least orally, gave the former Nevada Democrat a full account of the dossier, leading Reid to write a public letter demanding an investigation.
Former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe has flatly denied that he lied to the FBI about orchestrating a self-serving leak, even denying knowledge in several interviews with FBI investigators, including one session that Department of Justice (DOJ) Inspector General Michael Horowitz has on tape, if one reads the fine print of his report.
Now comes Strzok who, to the actual applause of congressional Democrats, denies he ever did anything in 26 years that contained even a hint of bias, despite the most damning evidence imaginable in the record — quote after quote indicating, at each and every phase of the Trump-Russia investigation, that he hated Trump, . . . .

A very good week for the President AND we learned the man can apologize

He sounded off on NATO, very critical that the richer nations not meeting their self-appointed financial obligations and left with $30 billion in new commitments and a NATO at peace with itself . . . . . which makes that defense association as strong as it as ever been and ready, for the first time, to meet the 21st century and the cyber warfare that is ahead . . . . thanks to Trump.

He then went to England, sounded off in an interview that appeared to be "anti-Theresa May," followed by meeting the Queen. Friday morning, he concluded a day and a half worth of meetings with PM May, held a press conference that included . . . .

Strzok's is given praise for courage when he feared nothing from a hapless congressional panel.

If we can't shoot him or through his arrogant self into prison, what is there to fear?

“If I could give you a Purple Heart, I would. You deserve one,” Rep. Steve Cohen (D-Tenn.) told Strzok. 24 hours later, after hundreds of Vets excoriated the Tennessee Democrat for being so out of touch with comon folk in our military, this clown apologized for his comment. "If I offended . . . . blay blay blay." And these people have no clue why they lost the Middle America,

So they push to Abolish ICE, and Paul Ryan calls their bluff

Editor: Could the Democrats make a bigger mess of things in their own party? Several Senators have told Schumer to pound sand when it comes to the resistance and a Kavanaugh confirmation. And now, this opposition to ICE is going down in flames. Me? I think they are funny. They don't even have an effective leader.

COP21 - This climate pact will soon become irrelevant, anyway.

COP21 "will be an irrelevance within a few years," Kelly said to CNBC via email, "as the the bills pile up, and ... the promises are reneged upon."

Editor: In plain English, this statement out of a CNBC article (June of 2016), is saying,

"The Paris Climate Agreement [COP21] will become irrelevant in due time . . . decades before its 100 year plan is completed. The promise of a massive decarbonization of the planet, will be broken time after time after time as related costs continue to sky-rocket." More than this, there is no reason for "zero carbonization."

Yesterday's House testimony helped to prove that bias was the only reason

Look, "they" say there was no actionable intelligence leading up to the Trump/Russian collusion nonsense. And on Thursday, Strzok testified that the Steele Dossier was not used to get the warrants that started this idiocy. So, what is left, and I do mean Left.

Me? I think that leaves "out of thin air" as the only remaining impetus for this notion that Trump is a Russian agent. That being true, "bias" would play a key role. And Strzok hung himself . . . .

So, how did Lisa Page's closed door testimony work out? The answer will surprise most

(CNN) Former FBI lawyer Lisa Page was questioned behind closed doors on Friday . . . . Republicans said they learned new information from a witness who was able to talk more freely than Strzok.

Two Republican congressmen, Reps. John Ratcliffe of Texas and Matt Gaetz of Florida, characterized Page's closed-door testimony as more forthcoming than Strzok's, because she answered . . . . .

File this under "Ain't going to happen."

Apparently, the campaign to impeach Rod Rosenstein is heating up. Liberals fear targeting Rosenstein, could jeopardize that investigation, however.

A primary worry in that regard is the possibility that Trump would appoint a replacement deputy attorney general who is more favorable to him, or that Attorney General Jeff Sessions, who recused himself from the Russia probe last year, could re-assume oversight of the investigation.

The silliness embedded in an AOL article stating the above, is that (A) Trump would have little chance of getting a replacement confirmed , and, (B) there is no chance . . . . .

McCain still angry about the Obama defeat, turns on Trump

“President Trump must be willing to confront Putin from a position of strength and demonstrate that there will be a serious price to pay for his ongoing aggression towards the United States and democracies around the world. If President Trump is not prepared to hold Putin accountable, the summit in Helsinki should not move forward,” a press release from McCain’s stated in light of special council Robert Mueller’s indictment of 12 Russian hackers.

Editor's notes: I doubt that I was ever a fan of McCain. His pretense at being a Conservative was never genuine, IMO. In this case, the arrogance is sickening. McCain has no clue as to the ultimate plans of our President. . . . .

Here is a headline that bespeaks something that is too stupid to discuss. So, what do we do about this? Disobey, either publicly or behind the scenes. The ONLY definition of "male and female" is that which is obvious and biological. And I am not going to argue the point, on fear of losing I.Q. points.

Well, this will come as a surprise, but there are a number of legal voices at CNN who see Kavanaugh as a solid pick. One such voice is Akhil Amar, Professor of Law and Political Science at Yale. He told the morning host at CNN, "Be careful what you wish for. Getting rid of Kavanaugh might open the door to a far more conservative justice."

Before signing off on this post, I must give praise to Poppy Harlow, the morning host at CNN. She could not be more fair in her service at CNN. MSNBC, on the other hand, came "out of the box" fighting the Kavanaugh nomination, and predicting "the end of the world as we know it."

You can add the EPA bureaucracy that leans left, the green lobby entwined with it, and their collaborators in the press corps . . . . . .
