Socialist Dems are not matching GOP donations.

You should know that Democrats ended the month (June) with just $9 million cash on hand and $6.3 million in debt. Republicans, on the other hand, have $50.7 million cash on hand.  There is a second track of money,  and that is

the money raised by individual candidates.  Many of them are in good shape.  So,  what does it mean when we observe the deficits facing Dems in contrast to the GOP?

Here is the problem:  When the Party runs low in donor gifts versus money given to individual candidates,  its ability to target problematic congressional districts and/or weak candidates,  is limited.

They had much the same problem in2012.  The forecasts were dismal but finished the campaign cycle with an Obama victory. What you might not know is this:  Barack finished the 2012 campaign with 3.5  million fewer votes than he had in 2008.  Certainly that had something to do Party money.
