Can the Feds withhold funds from Sanctuary Cities?  Not now. Understand that Obama's last budget does not expire until the last day of September.  Until then,  Sanctuary Cities receive funding from the Feds as if by an implicit contract.  The new "contracts" come out beginning October 1, 2017.  If language is in the budget statement,  making it clear that federal funding is conditional to include full compliance with federal law;  no compliance,  no funds,  then the Administration has a good chance of winning court challenges as it demands that our nation return to a "law and order" mentality.  

So we have to wait.   

Isn't it a pathetic state of affairs when we have to pass a law that demands that we obey our laws?  Dems do not believe that,  so we have to cram it down their throats   . . . .   and,  that is about to happen.  If you are a Dems,  all I can say is this:  

OPEN WIDE.

Fake News Story #179: This one is about Jared Krushner versus the infinitely unqualified Barack Obama.

The commie leaning Raw Story brands Jared Krushner (Ivanka's multi-millionaire husband) with these words, " . . .   a government neophyte with no previous policy or legislative experience."

Seems a little silly after the nation suffered 8 stinking years under a man who didn't even know what he didn't know.  Krushner had to divest himself from more than 200 business entities that he owned/managed, compared to Barack's dream of some day managing a fruit stand.  At least Carter was a peanut farmer.  'Nuff said.

Don't know what Devon Nunes knows (and, now, Adam Schiff)? Here is the skinny.

Devon Nunes,  Chair of the House Intelligence Committee, has been given a "look see" of documents proving the Obama Administration was, indeed, spying or collecting materials on Trump and his pre-election staff,  information to be used against Trump at some point in the future.  What does this mean,  exactly?  

Profoundly this:  Nunes has be given a supervised purview (by supervising Intel personnel) of "dozens and dozens" of individual documents,  each containing secret information collected by the Intelligence community, but in the possession of Obama staffers,   discussions among Trump staff,  "none of it related to the Russian influence,"  some documents of which,  contained names of staff or descriptions so detailed as to make identification possible.  As it turns out,  this information was collected and, in part, released to the media  (Times and Post).  The release of names and/or identification staff,  is a felony violation.  According to the Nunes,  this information was order by those near the top of the Obama Administration.  

His purview was followed by a press conference in which he described his findings,  a presser that was in the open and in clear view of the public.  Friday,  after complaining about being left in the dark,  the committee's 2nd Chair,  Adam Schiff, a Democrat,  was given the same supervised viewing of the documents.  After leaving that event,  Schiff made remarks critical of Nunes' "violation of protocol,"  but not a word about the damning content that was his to review   . . . .   not a word.  

I have believed for more than a week,  now,  that there is an increasing possibility that the Democrat's empty charges of Trump/Putin collusion, is about to blow up in the face of the Democrats.  That prediction is looking more and more likely.  

 The existence of these written documents,  and the leaking of information to the Major Media goes hand in hand with this admission:  

 . . . . .    speaking [to]  the people on The Hill,  "Get as much information as you can. Get as much intelligence as you can before President Obama leaves the administration,"  because I had a fear that somehow that information would disappear with the senior people who left so it would be hidden away in the bureaucracy   . . . .   that the Trump folks,  if they found out how we knew what we knew about the Trump staff dealing with Russians that they would try to compromise the sources and methods meaning that we would no longer have access to that intelligence.”

These are the words of Evelyn Farkas, an advisor to the Hillary campaign,  a campaign she left in 2015.  

On the one hand,  we have hard evidence of the Obama people mining FBI or NSA documents for information to be used against Trump,  and,  on the other hand,  we have Farkas and the Hillary people mining documents as they tried to develop a link between the Russians and the Trump campaigns.   

Here is what Farkas said,  on video.  Keep in mind,  that the Intel community has repeatedly said,  there is no evidence of collusion between the Trump campaign and the Russians.  So much for the Farkas evidence. 

 

 

Success breeds success. Enough of know-nothing politicians being put in charge of a national economy they have no clue how to manage.

Ivanka and Jared Kushner   -  Worth - 240 million with 700 million in assets.

Ivanka's business alone,  is worth more than 50 million.

Jared Kushner  resigned from some 260 entities and sold off 58 businesses or investments.  Trump's son-in-law is a billionaire in his own right. 

Gary Cohn,  NEC Director,  is assets worth as much as 611 and annual income of 77 million.  His financial disclosure statement,  the only tax related form required by law,  is a 41 page document.  By comparison,  President Trump's financial disclosure statement is a 104 page document  (previously reported as a 140 page doc by this review)

Steve Bannon has an annual income of 2.3 million with assets of 54 million. 

Kellyanne Conway's is worth 44.2 million. 

Rex Tillerson,  Secretary of State  :   In 2012, his compensation package was $40.5 million. It was $28.1 million in 2013, $33.1 million in 2014, and $27.2 million in 2015.  Of course,  he is now retired.

Steve Munchin,  Treasury Secretary help 46 million in Goldman Sach stock,  and earned as much as 14 per year.  Of course,  he is no longer employed at Sach's and had divested himself of his stock holdings.  

Betsy deVos,  Secretary of Education,  is worth 5.1 billion dollars. 

Dr. Tom Price,  HHS Secretary is worth 13 million.

 Dr. Ben Carson, HUD Secretary,  earned 10 million in speaking fees, book royalties and professional salary,  last year.




 

What was wrong with the GOP's health care reform bill? We ahve the answer.

Look,  the GOP's bill was not all bad.  It cut a billion in ObamaCare taxes, and,  got rid of mandated/forced compliance among other things.  But it met with the approval of only 17% of the population.  The Trump folks need to make a few more compromises with the Freedom Caucus AND do a much better job selling this to the public. 

Here is the problem with the Freedom Caucus' approach:  Let's say they get exactly what they want, in the House   . . . .   does anyone think the Senate will return the same bill back to the House?  You should know that the Senate will change the House bill in significant measure.  And the Caucus will refuse to approve???  Kinda looks that way, no?  

But there is another problem with the Caucus bill: It wants total repeal of Obama Care   . . . .   total.  Apparently the Freedom Caucus,  8% of the House membership,  believes that the Democrats will help with the new bill,  after the repeal.  In fact,  the Dems HAVE to help or there is nothing left after the Caucus Repeal.   Question:  Does anyone think the Dems will work with the GOP on the Repair?  Ever?  I don't.  And that is what is wrong with their plan.  When they get finished,  we have nothing.   

Better to fail altogether than to repeal with the hopes that the Dems will come to rescue.  Sad   . . . .   but Trump has not given up.  Maybe there is still hope.  

Class envy is running wild within the do-nothing Democrat Party.

Proving, of course,  that he is not an anti-financial globalist.  These folks on the Left hate things like "for profit,"   words like "capitalism," and,  concepts like "trickle down."  They believe that wealth is to be shared equally by all of mankind   . . . .   except by socialist party leadership, of course;  that "capitalism" is out-done by community gardening, and,  that they actually have a theoretical alternative to working and earning money "from the man" (i.e. "trickle down").    Understand that whether you get off your couch and work for the Man,  or receive welfare checks in the mail,  it is all trickle-down.  The only difference between the former and the latter,  is this: Some get rich (move up the financial ladder) while working for the Man,  the welfare recipient never does.   

It is beginning to look as if the nothing-burger Russian/Trump storyline is being over run by Obama's subversive activity against Trump, no?

This morning,  Politico tells us, "Rep. Adam Schiff, the top Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee, said Friday he still has deep concerns about the Trump administration’s handling of classified intelligence following a trip to the White House to review key documents for himself.
Schiff issued a brief statement after viewing the documents, which had previously been made available only to House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes (R-Calif.).   

“It was represented to me that these are precisely the same materials that were provided to the Chairman over a week ago,” 

Note: so,  he was told, before the fact,  about the content of the Nunes docs?  I mean,  if he already knew the content,  what is he bitching about? 
 
Schiff said. "Nothing I could see today warranted a departure from the normal review procedures, and these materials should now be provided to the full membership of both committees.”

Note:  So,  his complaint is about procedures and protocol,  not about the content,  which Nunes told our local Fresno,Ca., media was "far worse that he had been told?" 
 
The California Democrat added, “The White House has yet to explain why senior White House staff apparently shared these materials with but one member of either committee, only for their contents to be briefed back to the White House."

Note:  If protocol,  in this case, is about the order of events,  then Nunes was out of order according to Adam Schiff.  You should know that no one on the Left is charging Nunes with falsely reporting content;  no one on the Left is screaming "fraud."  

Fake News Story #178: Bannon made half a million and politico thinks this is news. What about Obama, the Clintons, Reid and Pelosi. Looks like somebody is angry that their cash cow is dead.

Bannon earned more than half a million dollars from entities tied to GOP donors  —  Steve Bannon, a top adviser to President Donald Trump, earned more than half a million dollars last year from entities linked to a pair of major conservative donors, according to documents released 

Notes:  And multi-millionaire Pelosi never divested herself from her California vineyards;  the Obama's will make more than 40 million off book deals,  Hillary and Bill made 126 million off their pay for play Charity while she was Secretary of State, and,  Reid secured land deals in Nevada that made him a millionaire.  Bannon made a half million? Really?  Just half a mil?  So what.
