Anyone still believe there to be a political equivalency between Occupy and the teaparty, grassroots movement?

Van Jones,  Obama's first "green czar" (2009),  was an admitted communist for ten years (see Politifact, here) and hoped to use Occupy,  as near a "communist front,"  in this country,  as one get,  as a base for a grand political third party,  complete with representatives in each of the 50 states,  a national convention and a national presidential candidate (2012).  Of course,  none of this happened,  and Occupy never grew out of the anarchist/adolescent stage of its so-called "development."  But, the fact that Jones was more than amenable to the goals and antics of Occupy,  is all the proof this editor needs,  to continue thinking of Jones as an undeclared communist,  in his present life.

Occupy celebrates its 2nd anniversary,  this week.  At no time has Occupy had more than 5,000 dedicated members,  nation wide,   who did more than show up and vandalize businesses.  Van Jones' decision that "now" was the time for a national restructuring of the State via a political party that would grow out of Occupy,  demonstrates the idealistic immaturity of this man who joined Obama in working for fundamental change to this great nation.  The difference between Jones and Obama,  noteworthy, however.  While their announced goals are the same,  Van Jones is consistent and, even,  honest in his socialist pursuits.  Obama is not,  and has become a major disappointment to those who thought radical change was coming to America.
In May of 2008,  in a speech in Puerto Rico,  Michelle Obama announced the radicalism of her husband when she spoke these words:   "Barack knows that we are going to have to make sacrifices; we are going to have to change our conversation; we're going to have to change our traditions, our history; we're going to have to move into a different place as a nation."

You cannot sound more radical than this without calling for a violent uprising.

Today,  while Occupy "celebrates" its meager existence per the demonstration pictured in this post,  teaparty types have rolled into DC,  more than 1 million strong (hoping for 2 million) and established the reality that conservatives and the teaparty alliance are as strong as ever.

It should be noted that while Obama has grown this country's ruling class,  he has failed miserably to fulfill the words of his radicalized wife.  Understand that this is not simply "Obama's failure."  Rather,  we are watching the failings of a world ideology that is failed in every nation in which it was tried.

Whether or not you agree with that statement,  certainly,  it is clear that a state sponsored socialism that feeds off the suppression of US Constitutional rights,  does not work in this country.  There is something to be said for the fact that capitalism expressed and grounded in individual rights  is more than a core principle in the creation and function of this country;  it is systemic to its very nature as a nation,  and cannot be change with a dictatorial overthrow of the system,  as a whole.  And,  that will not happen before the next civil war.

Generally speaking, the MSM admits Palin's relevancy after her CPAC masterpiece.

I took time to set up a montage of media opinion as to the speech and,  indeed, even her enemies agree that she had a great afternoon.

Palin left the stage to an extended ovation, having managed to do what none of the candidates except Santorum could: get social conservatives truly fired up.  The Buzz
If Sarah Palin had been on the ballot for the straw poll at the Conservative Political Action Conference, there is little doubt she would have won.   The former Alaska governor received far-and-away the most spirited and enthusiastic reception at this convention of about 10,000 conservative activists.  --  The Hill

The crowd went wild for the former Alaska governor and Republican pick for Vice President in 2008, who drew so many attendees to her speech that organizers added multiple overflow rooms.    Huffinton Post

As the wind-up speaker at this weekend’s CPAC gathering, Sarah Palin did what she’s always done best since her brief tour as the GOP’s vice presidential candidate four years ago: Cheer lead for conservative causes and candidates, needle Democrats and liberals, and keep herself positioned as a major voice in the Republican Party.  --  The Christian Science Monitor.

Under the headline,  “Sarah Palin at CPAC; its her party,”  we have this review:  Sarah Palin came to the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) in Washington, D.C. on her 48th birthday. The crowd serenaded her. And her speech was received raucously, as conservatives saw in her someone who articulated conservatism while clearly -- and surgically and defiantly -- differentiating herself from President Barack Obama.  --  Human Events.

Under the headline,  “Sarah Palin revs up CPAC faithful,”  she is given this note:  Former Alaska governor Sarah Palin gave her marching orders to the Republican base at the Conservative Poilitical Action Conference here on Saturday, telling conservatives to "stand united" around the eventual Republican presidential nominee to defeat President Obama.  "We must stand as conservatives," Palin said to a rousing standing ovation. "For the sake of our party, we must stand united with whoever our nominee is."   --  CBS News

Sarah Palin rocks CPAC.

Sarah Palin Wows CPAC 2012; Proved Her Conservative relevancy
That honor would go to former Alaska governor and Republican vice president nominee Sarah Palin, who stole the conservative summit with a rousing speech on Saturday. Palin mania was palpable throughout the Marriott Wardman Park hotel.      International Business Times - ‎

At CPAC, Palin Still A Rock Star.
By Alex Roarty Sarah Palin's visit Saturday to the Conservative Political Action Committee confirmed she remains an icon of the party's activist wing even if her clout within the GOP has diminished. Her speech, part of which chided pundits who predict ...   National Journal - ‎

And then, there is this bunch of Marxist wannabe:

[CPAC] has ended with what else but a horrifying, terrifying, completely lie-filled distortion of time, space and reality in the form of a “speech” by one of the more grotesque symbols of CPAC terror, Alaska's own mamma grizzly, Sarah Palin.  ---- Wonkette
