How and when did "racism become a part of our DNA?" we have the truth on this issue:

Editor's notes:  " . . . it's a part of our DNA . . ."  is a part of what Obama actually said.  I know because I heard him say it   . . . . .    but, for some reason,  that phrase has been cut from most reports on the speech,  and cut in such a way as to allow one to believe that it was not a part of the speech.
When I went shopping for the speech,  I could not find the wording,  except in a story in an India paper.

Anyway,  he said it.  My comment is this:  at what point in time did racism become systemic,  a part of our DNA?  Answer:  during all those years that the Democrats were in power in the South.  By the time they began pretending that their Confederate history does not exist,  the Democrat South had already bred racism into the DNA of this country.  They are solely responsible for this terrible reality.

To bring this point home,  Obama went on to say,  " . . . . .    the legacy of slavery casts a long shadow and that's still part of our DNA that's passed on."   Again,  which party inbreed this problem?  the answer is more than obvious.
Has the Democrat Party repented of its sins?  Well,  no.  They are no longer pushing slavery,  but "repent,"  no.  Instead,  they have decided to blame it all on the party that fought  to free the nation from slavery.  and most blacks in this nation,  have allowed their past slave masters to foster this pretense.

Disgusting.

  1. What is systemic is asinine idea that the today's democrats, authors and supports of civil rights since JFK, have some involvement in the racism that is rampant in the GOP a 98.7% white legislative body in congress.

It is a hallmark of regressives to look back at a time when Democrats were the racists, during reconstruction and through the Dixiecrat era. Now... look at who controls the 'slave states' now ... the grand old racist party. That today's reality. No BS tap dancing, name calling, and finger pointing to a half century past can erase the FACT that today's neo-confederates, racist whites in the south are 90% REPUBLICAN. The tea party is about as neo-confederate as they come. You will see the confederate flag at tea party rallies in the south.

If you want to look backward, this level of absurdity can be echoed in how we characterize Lincoln and the Republicans of the 19th C. Two prominent neo-Confederates Walter Donald Kennedy and Al Benson published the book "Red Republicans and Lincoln's Marxists: Marxism in the Civil War" in which they argue that Lincoln and the Republican Party were influenced by Marxism.

So there you have it... using Smithson's own regressive logic - Smithson's heritage - the party of Lincoln - father of American Marxism. You should be ashamed. Disgusting.

    1. Racism as per the Al Sharpton/CBO whiners in the Democrat Party, and some of the white population, came from . . . . . . where, if not Southern Democrats? Where did this DNA value come from? I am asking, "Who created this DNA?" There is only one answer. 150 years of breeding frustration and anger into the black population, and, hatred of blacks into the white haters who are now the skinheads of the modern era is where the DNA came from. You created the problem that has invaded a small part of the conservative politics. We have to live with your 150 crap prejudice. “DNA” means a problem that is inbreed. And who inbreed this problem. Good grief. How do you argue this point and still claim to be intelligent.

The GOP controls the “slave states.” Seriously? Dude, there are no slave states.

And what does your fantasy accusation mean, anyway? Most of the problems we have, today, are in the Northern states and Southern California (i.e. Compton). Blacks in the South are treated as equals . . . . . the Charleston killer only proves that hate still drives some. The killings do not counter what I just wrote. New York riots, Maryland riots, Chicago riots, Philadelphia, Oakland riots, LA riots . . . . . . . . almost all of the larger Black population centers are in Democrat controlled metropolitan areas . . . . so what in the H are you talking about?

As far as the GOP being influenced by Marxism . . . . . . . . . just another humorous attempt at deflection and Democrat party denial. . . . . . . . and you are losing elections because of your silliness and race-baiting ways.

So if the Confederate flag is a symbol of hate and division, what of the very symbol of the Democratic party, the donkey? It has been associated with the Democratic party since Jackson. The party of slavery, Jim Crow, segregation, poll tax, grand-father clause, gun control (to control blacks), KKK, and advocates of the soft bigotry of low expectations has never changed its symbol which has been linked to the party since 1828. Like the Confederate flag, the donkey is a symbol. How can they proudly use that symbol with no shame or regret? There is no political party in Germany that uses the symbol of the Swastika as their emblem. Why hasn't anyone in the media or Republican side of the aisle brought this up to any of the Democratic candidates? Progressives are a sad and volatile lot. They are miserable, spiteful, hellish people whose only goal is, in the words of the president, to transform this great nation to a second rate hell hole. I think it is time to flood the DNC with emails and demand they get rid of that symbol of hate, the Democratic party logo.
