Central Planning was defeated at the High Court, 8 to 1.

Lydia Wheeler / The Hill:
SCOTUS sides with raisin farmers in just compensation case  —  The Supreme Court ruled Monday that the government must pay just compensation for personal property — as well as real property — it takes under the Fifth Amendment.  —  The 8-1 ruling sided against a generations-old federal program …

Editor's notes:  It is not Obama's policy,  but Central Planning was defeated,  again,  in this Court decision.  Taking produce, as a matter of federal policy, from a farmer,  without compensation,  has been brought to an end.  I believe this policy may have had value back in the WW II days,  but,  not today.

A local raisin farmer,  in a town near my home (Fresno),  was fined nearly $700,000 back under the Bush Administration,  in 2002,  for refusing to supply the raisin demand of the Feds.  He refused to pay the fine,  and the ensuing lawsuit has been in the court system since that time.

Just another reason why we need to be thanking rich people for their diligence.  without rich conservatives,  none of us would be free,  today.
