  1. Guess which way the women justices voted? The implications of this are huge and will massively rally women against Republicans. Women outnumber men in America. Every sub group of America that is growing is anti Republican. Women, youth, blacks, hispanics, asians, immigrants, gays, most importantly non-religious, are ALL anti-Republican.. This is just another excellent way the Dems will be rallying women.

Smithson doesn't like to face this reality. He deleted a previous comment where I cited these facts. Population growth is fastest among minorities as a whole, and according to the Census Bureau's estimation for 2012, 50.4% of American children under the age of 1 belonged to minority groups.

This decision - Conservative christian men oppressing women. the American Taliban's blow to women's rights - will have consequences. It's biblical.

    You'll see.

    1. This will not add a single vote to the Democrat coffers . . . . they already have all the women in this country who are socialist minded enough to vote for the New Marxist Party candidates. Besides, the decision left in place 16 different methods of birth control, all free, all pro-women.

Just have to call names, right? I actually do not believe you have a PhD, unless, of course, it is by mail order.

I deleted your ignorant sounding name calling post. 90% of what you wrote, in that deleted post. was childish name calling, an insult to my readership. I still have that post. You are one of 5 opponents I allow, on this site . . . . all others (about 15 posts per day) I delete because they have no redeeming value.

  2. In denial again.

The power of women rallied by conservative male oppression is not to be underestimated, as we saw in a very red state - MS, where women voters rose to the occasion to defeat the amendment 26 - 'personhood'

"Religious organizations exist to foster the interests of persons subscribing to the same religious faith. Not so of for-profit corporations. Workers who sustain the operations of those corporations commonly are not drawn from one religious community.

Any decision to use contraceptives made by a woman covered under Hobby Lobby's or Conestoga's plan will not be propelled by the Government, it will be the woman's autonomous choice, informed by the physician she consults.

It bears note in this regard that the cost of an IUD is nearly equivalent to a month's full-time pay for workers earning the minimum wage.

Would the exemption extend to employers with religiously grounded objections to blood transfusions (Jehovah's Witnesses); antidepressants (Scientologists); medications derived from pigs, including anesthesia, intravenous fluids, and pills coated with gelatin (certain Muslims, Jews, and Hindus). Not much help there for the lower courts bound by today's decision.

Approving some religious claims while deeming others unworthy of accommodation could be 'perceived as favoring one religion over another,' the very 'risk the Constitution's Establishment Clause was designed to preclude. The court, I fear, has ventured into a minefield."

    - Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg

Christians oppressing women. It's biblical. The American Taliban.

    1. And IUD is not included in this decision, so why bring it up ? There is no such thing as conservative male oppression of women, but I do not believe a dedicated Alinsky disciple would admit his mistake. Since you flunked Faith 102, your comments about religion have no credibility . . . . your are nothing but a flunky when it comes to issues of faith. It was a narrow decision. Your list of possible exemptions is frivolous. You are the one who cherishes anarchy. So why try to sound reasonable or consistent in this discussion. You do not care about either when working your agenda. You do not believe in law or order, so don't pretend to be concerned about possible and imagined religious inequities.

    2. yes, the iud is included.

    3. Turns our you are correct. So what is the end game, here? Fairly simple. The government will pay the $500 for the insertion, and those with a religious conscience on the matter will be happy and all is well. THAT is what is going to happen.

  3. Rick Santorum (R-PA) declared ACA “a license to do things in the sexual realm that is counter to how things are supposed to be,” and his top donor Foster Friess suggested women - "just put an aspirin between their knees and it wasn’t that costly.”

When it comes to men, Republicans have no complaints about insurance coverage that allows men to continue having sex for non-procreative reasons, most of them are actually far more expensive than intrauterine devices.

It's ok for insurance to cover MALE erectile disfunction drugs, vacuum erection devices, penile implants, vasectomies, and circumcision.

Another brick in the wall... this WILL rally women. Smithson will never see another Republican president in his lifetime ... we can see where the court's male christian oppressors come from -- all from Republican presidents.

  4. do you answer for all the idiocy spoken by al sharpton? why do you think i answer for Santorum or Friess? With this court decision, women have free access to 16 different types of contraception so why all the phony angst?
    You know about penile dysfunction?
