The headline from Gallup told us that, for the first time in 7 years, more Americans approve of abortion. True or false? We have the rest of the story . . . . . . from Gallup.

Kristan Hawkins, president of Students for Life of America, looked at the poll and tells Breitbart News: “While on the surface, it looks like more Americans are self-identifying as pro-choice than pro-life, when you look at the split in what exactly they favor, those numbers tell a different story.”
“Americans may be misidentifying themselves when it comes to the matter of abortion since a majority clearly support significant restrictions on abortion,” Hawkins continued. “We see students misidentifying themselves all the time on campuses across the country, which is why we no longer ask them if they are pro-life or pro-choice. They don’t know what the labels mean. Instead we ask if they support legal abortion or how long into a pregnancy they tolerate abortion.”
“As this pro-life generation continues to mature and technology continues to advance, more and more Americans will come to realize the great human tragedy of abortion,” she added.
Similarly, Maureen Ferguson of the Catholic Association tells Breitbart News, “This poll shows once again that most Americans oppose most abortions. Not only do the majority of people morally oppose most abortions, they want them to be against the law.”
“Polling numbers are even higher when talking about protecting babies from late-term abortion, so we hope the U.S. Senate will listen to the will of the people and pass the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act, which would ban abortions past 20 weeks of pregnancy,” she added.

Hillary's campaign becoming laughable? Bernie Sanders drew 3x larger crowd than Hillary over the weekend. Me? I think this is funny. (no article)

"Run Warren Run" as a grassroots movement within the Progressive wing of the Democrat Pary, has failed.

Yesterday's news included the announcement that the "Run Warren Run" grassroots movement,  has been retired   . . . .    and that is the end of Elizabeth Warrens chances for ever being President.  She will be 67 next June,  and 75 at the end of a projected two term presidency on the part of either the Dems or the GOP.

Surprisingly, with this recent news,  we now know that the Obama years have been devastating for the Progressives within the party. Warren is the superstar of present day Progressives  . . . . . .  and she is so far out of the mainstream,  that the movement to draft her ahead of Hillary,  failed in a matter of weeks.

Clearly,  the Dems do not have a "plan B,"  should Hillary fail in her campaign effort.  Already,  she is having problems enlisting support from Big Money,  and her scheduled "A Conversation with Hillary Clinton" predating her second announcement that she is running  (huh ???),  has failed to garner 125 female ticket holders. Only 50 tickets were sold.

Now you know.

Bad sign for Hillary: She wanted 125 women in her "Conversation with Hillary" exhibition, just before she "announces" again, for the presidency. She only sold 50 tickets.

NY Post:
Hillary Clinton had trouble attracting high-powered women to a New York talk hosted by Silda Wall Spitzer two weeks before her campaign officially kicks off. Sources said that after ticket sales fizzled for an intimate, $2,700-per-person, “just for women” meeting on Monday, the event was thrown open to men at the 11th hour, and the deadline extended to buy tickets.

The “Conversation With Hillary Clinton” event at Midtown law firm Akin Gump was originally aiming to attract 125 women. An email invitation seen by Page Six said the event is “just for women.” But by Friday, “They’d only sold 50 tickets, so they threw it open to men,” a source said. “Ticket sales were supposed to close at 10 a.m. Sunday, but the hostesses were working the phones and pushed the deadline till Monday.”

Editor's notes:  Understand that the fact of Hillary's second announcement,  is a declaration of defeat for the First Lady.  It simply means that she did not get the attention or popularity "bump" she expected,  with her first announcement.
This "second" announcement may blow up in her face.  I can tell you what I will do,  as a conservative editor:  If there is no "bump,"  well,  you can imagine how folks like me will respond.

But this second announcement is not just about her popularity.  The money is not coming in as expected.   You should know that the battle to get this woman a Democrat Party nomination is far from over.  Should the Party switch to Elizabeth Warren,  at the last minute,  such a decision would be equal to waving the white flag.  Warren is too far Left,  but more than this,  she is a freshman Senator with absolutely no real world,  blue collar,  experience.  She is a very charismatic,  intelligent, woman.  She knows what she believes,  and has a gift for defending her views   . . . . . .   and still,  she simply does not have time to overcome her two negatives:  That she is a freshman Senator;  that she is as far Left as the Democrat Party allows   . . . . . .    far, far Left of the General Population, are two overwhelming factors in a bid for a Warren Presidency.

As it turns out, "The Dream Act" is a great moniker for an over-all picture of the Obama Administration. To imply that he has brought peace to the world, is at the top of our list.

The Daily Beast,  along with the rest of the Media World,  apparently accepts the Administrations claims for a united 60 member alliance in the fight against ISIS,  hence the words in the opening paragraph of this latest news story at The Beast:  "A centerpiece of the U.S. war plan against ISIS is in danger of collapsing   . . . . . .

Center piece?  Seriously?  It is well documented, folks, within and outside the Administration,  that Obama has no strategy for defeating ISIS,  either in Syria or in Iraq.  Heck,  we only fly 4 meaningful bombing missions a day and have yet to learn the identities of the 60 member coalition supposedly in the fight against ISIS. And with the events of the past several weeks,  we now know that Iraq,  as it was handed to Barack Obama,  no longer exists.  He has squandered the victory 4,000 Americans died to secure.  Look,  when the fantasy/unnamed  coalition,  does not bother to return phone calls from those willing to fight and destroy the malignancy,  you know the politicians in charge,  are only playing word games.  This Progressive Bunch currently in power, are ideologues who actually believe in "peace at any price" (a phrase that is,  in reality,  an oxymoron),  to the point that they will abandon the sacrifices of thousands of our soldiers,  create rules of engagement responsible for the deaths of hundred To make matters worse,  the current leadership is delusional,  thinking that it can pronounce "peace on earth" into existence,  without the finality of applied military force.  Yet,  this is exactly what Obama did,  over the recent Memorial Weekend   . . . . .   bragging about the ridiculous "fact" that this past Memorial Day marked the "first time in 15 years that America was not at war,"  while it still has troops in Afghanistan and fighting, 3,500 troops in Iraq and fighting,  with U.S. embassies around the world being forced into closing,  the loss of Yemen,  Somalia,  Iraq as it was given to Obama, the newly divided Syria,  the sad surrender of Libya and parts of Africa to Boko Haram (an al Qaeda extension and ISIS partner), an expanding China recently declaring its willingness to wage an "inevitable"  war with the United States, a free and sovereign Cuba and extended arm of Russian imperialism,  a soon to be "nuclear Iran,"  and on and on.

There is no substitute for reality.  Understand that in addition to the Memorial Day announcement,  Obama has taken opportunity to state that the world,  under his leadership,  is more at peace than at anytime in the past several decades (!).  Yes,  he actually believes that he has brought "peace on Earth."   Hopefully,  the American voter will see the delusion and vote,  accordingly,  this coming election cycle.

Note:  add this article to the delusion that is the Obama Administration:  While nobody was looking, the Islamic State launched a new, deadly offensive.

Impetus for the above commentary:

(From the Daily Beast):   A centerpiece of the U.S. war plan against ISIS is in danger of collapsing.  A key rebel commander and his men are ready . . .  to pull out in frustration of the U.S. program to train a rebel army to beat back the terror group in Syria, The Daily Beast has learned.

The news comes as ISIS is marching on the suburbs of Aleppo, Syria's second-largest city. Rebels currently fighting the jihadists there told The Daily Beast that the U.S.-led coalition isn't even bothering to respond to their calls for airstrikes to stop the jihadist army   . . . . .

“We submitted the names of 1,000 fighters for the program, but then we got this request to promise not to use any of our training against Assad,” Sejari, a founding member of the Revolutionary Command Council, said. “It was a Department of Defense liaison officer who relayed this condition to us orally, saying we’d have to sign a form. He told us, ‘We got this money from Congress for a program to fight ISIS only.’ This reason was not convincing for me. So we said no.”

Back in the good old days, when a man said, "I am tired of being a man. I think I will be a woman, now," we gave him therapy. Enough said. Unless he can give birth the old fashion way, he will always be Bruce, the Olympic Champion, to me.

As the election season warms up, we will give Sarah Palin more face time on this blog. While the Left has insured she will never be president, she is hard at work, successfully, leading the rebellion against the Marxist forces that are tearing this nation to pieces.

It’s unfortunate and potentially frightening knowing that everywhere you look today jihad is on the march – even on American soil. Warnings for potential terrorist attacks on our homeland are now stepped up, and with the arrest of dozens of Americans on terrorism related charges, the message is clear that no place seems safe from jihad.
Our military personnel and law enforcement agencies have to be right every time, but the terrorists only have to get “lucky” once to do horrible damage to our country. The threat of radical Islam is real, and it must not be allowed to be ignored.

With the recent capture of Ramadi, ISIS has scored a key victory that is more than symbolic as this death cult takes land that Americans spilled blood and treasure to secure. Make no mistake that this situation could have been avoided had the Obama administration heeded the warnings of military brass that urged them to keep a residual force in Iraq to maintain the peace that America and our allies fought so hard for.

But it’s never too late to do the right thing. That means getting serious about defeating ISIS at the source while remaining ever vigilant at home. As always, our foreign policy must be rooted in the motto Peace Through Strength. For your part, friends, I encourage you to keep in perspective the issues-of-the-day that media chooses to report on. Demand our leaders and the press keep national priorities straight, and don’t allow fear to dictate our actions and change our way of life. To cower in fear is to let the enemy win. So stay vigilant, take personal responsibility for the safety of ourselves and our property, support our troops, and learn through history that we only remain free by being brave.

May God’s hand of protection remain on this country that has dedicated herself to Him.
– Sarah Palin
