I believe Beck is doing a disservice in taking aid to the border. How could he not be seen as supporting de facto amnesty? It is sad, but necessary that we hold a hard line when it comes to border enforcement, and giving this kind of aid is not that. I don't know that kids in Honduras are talking about the freebees coming from Glenn Beck, but I do know they are well aware of the benefits they will receive in coming to America. We simply cannot feed the world or any of its populations.

Keep in mind that Beck is responding to requests of fellow Americans, living at the border, who are stuck or forced, if you will, into housing and feeding these immigrants. They - the immigrants - are at the border for only a few days, but the flow of immigrants is constant and our fellow Americans need our help. Helping our "brothers" and comprehensive immigration policy should never be thought of as being related. I am not a big fan of Beck, but he has done a lot for the conservative movement, and in his partnership with Border Americans who have no choice in all this, I do think he is right, if not righteous.

Jan Brewer for President ?? No ?!! How 'bout Arizona governor ? -- by 19 points, no less.

Editor's notes: you will be glad to know that Arizonans have no intention of judging Jan Brewer on her last performance, a rather disheartening debate performance. SHE HAS ALREADY proven herself to the Arizona voters and is, quite frankly, running away with the election. Understand that the day of the polished politician, vetted by a liberal Media, is over -- at least for the 2010 - 2012 election cycle. While the gutless Democrat Party runs for cover and the good-old-boys in the Republican Party are desperately trying to maintain control of that party, folks like Jan Brewer, Palin, Jim DeMint, Paul Ryan, Kevin McCarthy, Eric Cantor, Dick Army, Chris Christy, Joe Miller (should he win in Alaska), Scott Brown, Mike Pence, Dr. Rand Paul (should he win), Michele Bachmann, Glenn Beck, Rush Limbaugh (the single most important 'grassroots' conservative on the planet), Hannity (he much more Republican, however, than he pretends to be), Mark Levin, that Michael Savage fellow, Hugh Hewitt, and the 50 million or so members of the "taxed enough already" party, are bringing the house down on politics as unusual -- in both parties.

Point of post: the country seems ready to have an election based upon principles -- just in the nick of time.

ABC News reports more race baiting from the Left. When will these folks give up on that. The KKK is their invention.That's how racist the Left is !!

The Rev. Walter Fauntroy, the non-voting delegate who represented the District of Columbia from 1971 to 1991, called on African-Americans to organize a "new coalition of conscience" to rebut the rally scheduled for Saturday at the Lincoln Memorial featuring Fox News pundit Glenn Beck and former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin.

"We are going to take on the barbarism of war, the decadence of racism, and the scourge of poverty, that the Ku Klux -- I meant to say the Tea Party," Fauntroy told a news conference today at the National Press Club. "You all forgive me, but I -- you have to use them interchangeably."

Editor's notes: let's be clear: the KKK was the invention of a Democrat South. In the 1950's - 1960's , there was not a single racist Republican politician on the national scene. All of the governors in the South were Democrat. Even Lyndon Johnson, Speaker of the House during Eisenhower's presidency, voted "no" to integration (in the '50's) before voting "yes" in 1964. So let's get over this nonsense that the KKK is a Republican institution. It is not and why blacks want to believe the lie that is presented in the article, above, is beyond the sensibilities of this editor. Nothing could be more false. Nothing. Let's say it plainly: the KKK was a Democrat inspired organization. Period.

Does racism at some level, exist? OF COURSE and we add "Duh !!" But it is as prevalent in the Black community as it is in the White community. And it is unacceptable where ever it is found. Here in California, at our TEA Party events, we have an occasional sign that is racist in tone. But the TEA Party events, themselves, have been totally absent of racism as a theme. On this blog, you will never see a "monkey picture" of Michelle Obama. We consider such to be the product of stupidity and it has no place here. Most of those on our blogrolls feel the same.

Understand that Independents are a big part of the TEA Party Movement and they, as a collective, are quickly "turned off" by expressed racisim. Walter Fauntroy, in the story above, is the racist -- pure and simple. And he is such because he is using the lie of "racism" to defeat those with whom he disagrees, politically.

Mark our words: this weekends 8/28 gathering in Washington will be the very opposite of a race event. Signage is not allowed. Familes, entire families, are encouraged to attend. Dr. King's own neice will be in attendance and fully supports this event.

The Marxist Media, Glenn Beck, Honoring America and the agenda of the Left -- its as plain as day !!

From the Editor: Over the past several days we have read several stories in the Marxist Media concerning Glen Beck's "Honor America" rally in D.C. this coming Saturday. We have grown tired of the misreporting. Here is an example taken from the Washington Post:

Glenn Beck rally will be a measure of the tea party's strength

When Fox News and talk radio host Glenn Beck comes to Washington this weekend to headline a rally intended to "restore honor" to America, he will test the strength - and potentially expose the weaknesses - of a conservative grass-roots movement that remains an unpredictable force in the country's politics.

Beck, who is both admired and assailed for his faith-based patriotism and his brash criticism of President Obama, plans in part to celebrate Martin Luther King Jr. as an American hero. He will speak on the anniversary of the "I Have a Dream" speech, from the spot where King delivered it.

Some "tea party" activists say the event, at which former Alaska governor Sarah Palin is also scheduled to speak, will have a greater impact than last September's "9/12" march along Pennsylvania Avenue. Though the attendance figures for that anti-tax rally are disputed, it was the first national gathering to demonstrate the size and influence of the tea party movement.

But with just a few days before the Beck rally, basic questions linger, including how big it will be and whether the event, which Beck says is nonpolitical, will help or hurt Republicans in November. Also unanswered is whether Beck can pull off the connection to King without creating offense - or confrontation with another event the same day led by the Rev. Al Sharpton.

Beck said in a recent broadcast that he did not intentionally choose the "I Have a Dream" anniversary for his rally - but that he believes the coincidence is "divine providence."

"Whites don't own Abraham Lincoln," he said. "Blacks don't own Martin Luther King. Those are American icons, American ideas, and we should just talk about character, and that's really what this event is about. It's about honoring character."

The rally, which is also being billed as a tribute to U.S. troops, will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial. Video screens and sound towers will be positioned along the reflecting pool and as far east as the Washington Monument.

It will be a weekend of political activity, with tea party organizer FreedomWorks hosting a convention in Washington on Friday, Beck's and Sharpton's events Saturday, and a major effort by Democrats to knock on 200,000 doors nationwide Saturday and Sunday.

Beck is expecting as many as 100,000 people and is heavily promoting his event on his TV and radio shows. Sharpton expects a smaller number for an annual commemoration of the "Dream" speech. That event, which focuses on education, will begin at 11 a.m. with speeches at Dunbar High School in Northwest. It will continue with a march to the site of the planned King memorial, at the same end of the Mall as the Lincoln Memorial, placing participants of both events in close proximity. PERMALINK >>>>

1. The Post implies the possibility of exposing "weaknesses" in the grass-roots movement. Of course, these yahoo's have been forecasting this possibility since the inception of the movement, last spring ('09).

2. Beck's role in the event is not one of a "featured speaker." The Post article makes it sound as if Beck will offer up a speech to rival the wonderful speech of Dr. King. Ain't going to happen.

3. Palin IS NOT A FEATURED SPEAKER. Her role will be to introduce one or more of the six individual on a schedule that has not been revealed to the media as we write. In this paragraph, there is the implication of conflicting crowd estimates for the first 9/11 gathering. Our estimate is between 1.5 and 2 million in attendance. We posted two pictures giving evidence of this numbering. One pic is that of the 9/11 crowd in the mall between the Lincoln memorial and the Washington Monument, a mile away - a mall completely full of folks (perhaps 700,000, the same estimate that was attached to a similar size crowd at Obama's inauguration). The second picture is that of the crowd standing in the streets that run to the "right" of the Lincoln Memorial - a crowd that appears to be the same size or larger than the one standing in the first picture.

4. This thought reminds the reader that "questions" remain "unanswered. Questions as to the size of the event and the effect it might have on the future of GOP politics. Our response? Well, since the event has not taken place yet, OF COURSE THESE QUESTIONS REMAIN. Further, they pose the problem of pleasing the racist, Al Charlatan. . . . . a most unimportant concern.

5. The secularists at the Post have no clue as to meaning of "divine providence." Suffice it to say that divine providence is "God working in history." This paragraph will strike a cord with those who think "divine providence" is the doctrine of a fool.

6. This accurately quotes Beck.

7. The first of two paragraphs that merit reporting.

8. Ditto except this paragraph wants you to know that the Dems are hard at work, as well.

9. Here, the Post suggests that the expected crowd will be 100,000. They fail to report that Beck took out a permit for at least 300,000. Since they did not research this article, they do not know that by Monday, of this week, there were more than 1,000 buses schedule to make the trip. There were 1,900 buses that made the trip to the 700,000 Obama Inauguration.

Point of post: to set the record straight while offering a prime example of how the Marxist Media works. It is clear that the reporters never talked to Beck, did not view any of his televised programing related to the event, and embedded their Marxist bias in the reporting.

The effort to brand FoxNews and Glenn Beck with racism has officially failed. Here is proof.

Editor's notes: Darren Goode and The Hill reveal their willingness to continue the conspiracy of the 400 journalists and elitists caught last week in a massive plot to use such things as accusations of racism to influence the voting public. The story below, reveals a willingness to get the facts wrong with regard to FoxNews in order to tie that news network to a false accusation of racism. Read the brief excerpt and our rebuttal:

Former Democratic National Committee Chairman Howard Dean accused Fox News of promoting racism, including in the recent fracas over the Obama administration’s forced resignation of Agriculture Department official Shirley Sherrod. “Let’s just be blunt about this … I think Fox News did something that was absolutely racist,” Dean charged on "Fox News Sunday." Dean said Fox helped promote the charges that Sherrod – who is black – made racist comments about white farmers, which led to her forced resignation Monday. READ THE FULL STORY HERE >>>>

What this article [in The Hill] leaves out entirely is a 60 second confrontation following Dean's ridiculous charge, a confrontation between Wallace and Dean in which Dean was repeatedly asked by Wallace, the host of the FoxNews show at 3:00 pm, if he knew that Sherrod was fired well before there was any airing of the video in question, that FoxNews played no role whatsoever in the firing of this politically bigoted woman. Dean stammered around for the full 60 seconds and never answered the question.

The fact is this: the big loser of the week in this matter was Mr. Obama. No one really believes that he had nothing to do with the firing. Sherrod herself makes the claim of Obama's involvement. He acted without having all the facts -- something that Obama does more often than recent presidents. He did not know what was in the Arizona bill at the time he first issued his criticism; he did not know the facts in the Professor Gates "cops acted stupidly" incident; he did not know of the inclusion of Federally funded abortions in the healthcare bill; he did not know that guaranteed coverage for dependents was not in the healthcare -- and we seriously could go on and on.

The biggest oversight of this story is the fact that the Breitbart release of the Sherrod video HAD THE TURNING POINT in the release. While the video release did not feature Sherrod's full commentary on the so-called "turning point," it was clearly in Breitbart's release and for that reason, she will not be successful in suing him --- at least according to Megyn Kelly of FoxNews.

The second biggest oversight in this story is the fact that Glenn Beck was the only major commentator of the FoxNews evening offering (Beck, O'Reilly, Hannity and Van Suteren) to NOT reference the story. He made no mention of the event at all. Yet, it was Beck the Administration feared the most -- according to Sherrod.

The Lefts' effort to make this story a tale about racism with Glenn Beck, the Tea Party and FoxNews is turning out to be monumental failure.

Our final comment is this: he he he .

Let's return the favor, shall we?

CLINTON: You cannot be civil with a political party that wants to destroy what you stand for, what you care about. That’s why I believe if we are fortunate enough to win back the House and/or the senate, that’s when civility can start again. But until then, the only thing that the Republicans seem to recognize and respect is strength. And you heard how the Republican members led by Mitch McConnell, the president really demeaned the confirmation process.

The Stated Nonsense from the Left now includes these Progressive goals:

July 2, 2008, Obama had this to say: "We cannot continue to rely only on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives that we've set. We've got to have a civilian national security force that's just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded."

MICHELLE OBAMA: "Barack knows that we are going to have to make sacrifices; we are going to have to change our conversation; we're going to have to change our traditions, our history; we're going to have to move into a different place as a nation."
