Well, they can investigate anyone, but they need the Senate to impeach. Turns out that the Dems are masters at wasting time looking important . . . or is that "impotent?"

‘Chairman’ Nadler: Democrats Will ‘Impeach Kavanaugh,’ Investigate Trump

Rep. Jerry Nadler (D-NY), the ranking member on the House Judiciary Committee who is favored to be the next House Judiciary Committee chairman, revealed in a phone conversation that Democrats plan to “impeach Kavanaugh” and investigate President Donald Trump for alleged Russian collusion.

The Federalist reported that Nadler was riding an Amtrak Acela train to Washington, DC, Wednesday to meet with his congressional staff and House Judiciary Committee staff when he revealed in a phone call with a friend the details of House Democrats’ plans for the next two years.
“We’ve got to figure out what we’re doing,” he explained on the call before he began discussing House Democrats’ plans to investigate and later impeach Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh for alleged perjury.

  1. It's not the Senate trial that will bring down Trump, it's the revealing of evidence in the House that will.

"Special Counsel Mueller must be allowed to complete his work without interference—regardless of who is AG." Sen. Susan Collins [R ME]

"Under Acting Attorney General Matthew Whitaker, it is imperative that the important work of the Justice Department continues, and that the Mueller investigation proceeds to its conclusion unimpeded." - Sen elect Mitt Romney [R-UT]

    1. Nonsense. The House does put the President on trial for impeachment. "Revealing evidence" is a wast of time but, hey, what else can the Dems do? They have no ideas for taking this country forward except to dissolve our borders, prosecute our cops, give free college to the 20% of our young people who plan on getting a college education, and free health care via Medicare, a government program that is already $47 trillion in unfunded liabilities. Understand that "unfunded" means exactly what you think that means, we do not have reserve funds to pay for this program and the medical claims against it. We are currently spending more money on Medicare than we spend on the military.
