Editor's notes: If Trump has as good a day in the primaries, today, as is predicted, his "path to the nomination" will be almost irresistible. We all want this to be over . . . . . . no matter what, right?

Cruz has been promising that if the contest was between him and Trump, he would crush the Realtor. Well, with this "partnership," Indiana (next week) will be the test for this claim. Kasich is pulling out of the Indiana primary and will no longer spend money for his campaign in that state . . . . . it is just between Cruz and Donald.

Having said that, we may be watching the tightening of the noose.
