Editor: I have read 5 headlines this morning, all suggesting that the Democrats have reversed the obvious downward voting trends, and may take both houses of Congress. That is why this AP story is so timely. I mean, if the Dems are so desperate as to fake a coordinated bomb attack of most of the national Democrat leaders, they will write and/or say anything to win an election they are supposed to win.

I predict the GOP will retain both houses. This will essentially absolve Trump of criminal prosecution until he leaves office and allow the Trump policies to begin hurting people with the upcoming recession predicted for 20-21 due to his policies. People will only change their vote if they get hurt. That is what it will take and that is what will likely happen if the Dems lose the House. Trump just wants to cash in while he still can. He cares nothing for the future of America. That will be the next Dem president who will have to clean up the mess as Obama did with Bush.
