Brennan thinks Trump is trying to silence him, when, in fact, the Prez is only protecting national security.

Mr Trump decided to take this action as he's done with others,  to try to intimidate and suppress any criticism of him or his administration.  And revoking my security clearances is his way of trying to get back at me.  If Mr Trump believes that this is going to lead me to just to go away and be quiet, he is very badly mistaken.
(Brennan, MSNBC / DATELINE).

An attempt to silence Brennan?  How is the revocation of security clearances for folks who no longer work for the government,  how is that an effort to silence anyone?  Brennan and his cohorts can be expected to be as large a loud-mouth community as ever.   Freedom of speech remains  . . . . .
a critical principle to the current President,  as with others.

Finally,  you will not see any mention Barack's attack on the media,  his effort to criminally prosecute James Rosen of Fox News among others,  or,  wire tape the phone services of 120 Associated Press reporters  . . .  issues far worse that this "security clearance) issue.

Take it to the bank,  the Obama's were far more anti-free speech than any administration in recent history.
