Understand that our national media is all about making money. They often pretend otherwise, but the truth is very different. Brian Williams , for example, was making 10 million per year. Chris Matthews at MSNBC makes 5 million while his cohort, Rachel Maddow, makes a nifty 7 million. All these "middle class" do-gooders are as misleading as a transgender bra. I would name some of the millionaires on the Right, but none of them pretend they are not making the big bucks.
I believe Bernie Sanders is the least paid Senator on the Hill . . . . earning around $450,000 per year.
All this is to say that the Leftist Media needs a little controversy or it can't justify its time spent covering Hillary . . . . .. so they manufacture a "near political crisis" and hope it adds to their market share. The fact of the matter is this: The Dems simply do not have a "bench" when it comes to national politics. Me? I think their lack of attention to future elections is just what the doctor ordered . . . . . . and it demonstrates, once again, the party's gross ineptness. Didn't use to be that way . . . . back when I was a Democrat.
Update: In the WMUR CNN Granite State Poll for the Democratic Primary we have Hillary at 43%, Bernie at 35% and Biden, a distant third with 8%. . . . . . . . maybe there is more substance to this than I want to believe.
Clinton/Sanders '16 = unbeatable.
