To pretend that Utopian Progressives do not live and die by the words and strategies of Saul Alinsky is more than stupid. One of his principles had to do with building rebellion off real or imagined crisis. This story is a great example. The "climate crisis" crowd is all about doom and gloom, but when it comes to their larger predictions, without regard to the particular crisis, they seldom "get it right." Anyone remember the doom and gloom surrounding the "acid rain" crisis? Or how about the vanishing ozone layer? There were the predictions of world wide starvation during the crisis we attachged to "the hunger bomb." The was the crisis that surround the use of DDT. Moving the world away from that chemical, directly lead to the deaths of mor ethan 20 million Africans, but the Left has never cared about the African community (remember, it was the Left that invented Jim Crow and thje KKK and fought to protect their plantations in the Civil War), so what's a few million blacks deaths? Al Gore predicted 20 foot of ocean water in the middle of Manhattan by the summer of 2015 . . . . . . no even close. And now, this video. A small ice peninsular appears to be melting away. So what ?! The video predicts a rise in the ocean. I can tell you now, before this happens, there will be no measured rise in our southern oceans . . . . . . none. The fact is this: the Utopian Redistributionists, using every crisis imaginable, are losing the war. Fewer and fewer folks believe in their crisis theories.

Alinsky taught the revolutionary values of crisis management. That this peninsular of ice is decreasing in size, may be true, but is no big deal. The tone of the video is foreboding enough, but the claim of pending disaster and rising tides is outright ridiculous. People who do not think for themselves may be influenced by this video, but anyone who can form the words, "So what?" will know that there is not enough melting ice, in the scope of this video, to produce any measurable rise in tide.
