Obama's first term mirred by the third worst approval ratings of any post War president.

(CNSNews.com) - President Barack Obama averaged a 49.1 percent job approval during his first term in office, among the lowest for post-World War II presidents, according to a new Gallup poll.

Only Jimmy Carter and Gerald Ford had lower job approval averages in their first terms, Gallup reported.

Here's how the Post-WWII presidents stack up:
First-Term Average Approval Ratings:

Johnson - 74.2%
Kennedy - 70.1%
Eisenhower 69.6%
G.W. Bush - 62.2%
G.H.W. Bush - 60.9%
Nixon - 55.8%
Truman - 55.6%
Reagan - 50.3%
Clinton - 49.6%
Obama - 49.1%
Ford - 47.2%
Carter - 45.5%

Editor's notes:  while Gallup sees hope for rebound in Obama's numbers,  the fact remains that his dictatorial form of governance and his revenge mentality,  have cost him, dearly,  in terms of "political capital."  He is not trust worthy,  and the nation knows this.

Gallup blames the economy for part of Obama's problem,  but this cannot account for the totality of his unpopularity.  Look at Clinton's numbers.  They were, also,  low,  and his economy was great.

No,  there are millions of Americans who observe the immorality and deceit and feckless conduct of our politicians and care about what they see.  The numbers do not lie.
