Meet the new Colin Powell. I don't think you will like this imposter, but Harry Belafonte loves the guy.

<<<  Colin Powell is nothing more than Harry Belafonte all dressed up in a military uniform.  He is black,  angry in a professional sort of way,  and wants the GOP to mirror the Socialist Democrat Party.  

“Should we really have gone after reducing the turnout of voters in those places where we thought it would make a difference? The Republican Party should be a party that says, ‘We want everybody to vote,’ and make it easier to vote and give them a reason to vote for the party, not to find ways to keep them from voting at all,” Powell said on the radicalized and Marxist,  MSNBC’s “Morning Joe."  What’s happened in the last few years, is the party has shifted dramatically to the right — that’s perfectly acceptable, but if you stay that far to the right, you’re losing where the country is.  The country is moving more toward the center. There are social changes taking place in this country that are irreversible and there is demographic change … you can’t just say, ‘Well, we’ll fix our message. ‘  It’s not the message. You have to appeal with policies and programs to these people who are going to be the leaders of our country in a generation.”

Editor’s notes:  understand that this man is considered a military hero because of the actions of General  Norman Schwartzcauf during Desert Storm. 

As Secretary of State,  under GW Bush,  he traveled and met less with foreign leaders than any Secretary in the past 30 years.  

He was always considered a “moderate Republican.”  Only since Obama,  have we learned of his antagonism for conservative values and traditional American historicities.  He is an Obama Freak,  and that is about all that  needs to be said.  

Understand his comments,  above,  in this context.  Know,  that voter registration is not an effort to limit voter registration,  but [only] an effort to insure that an election includes only those who are “American.”  The various government agencies involved in voter registration,  offer free registration.  Understand that a voter ID is only a document that verifies a person’s name and his or her address.  That’s it.   Again, this I.D. is free with no requirements to be met. 

But,  Powell has joined the chorus that falsely asserts that “voter ID” is a white man’s effort at eliminating the black vote.  The accusation is moronic in nature,  divisive in content,  and baseless as a "fact" of political life.  Understand that the states with voter ID have INCREASED voter involvement,  not less.
