<<< Add to the 2900 who admittedly died on that day, another 1,400 Americans at work in the Towers who were never identified nor counted. They "just disappeared," their lives lost to our memory forever.
The Marxist Media immediately began white-washing this tragedy, refusing to show the hundreds of Americans forced to jump to their deaths, on September 11, 2001. They knew this was the beginning of war and they were going to have none of that. Such pictures would further inflame Americans, and the media saw this as a negative worthy of a "cover-up" of sorts. So bad was this circumstance, that arriving first responders were told to "look up" before getting out of their vehicles because of the bodies "raining down" from the Towers.
Most of these Americans jumped to their deaths; All of them died. Click on this picture if you dare. |
No, it is so much easier to blame Bush, and, the blame game began with the first notification of the disaster, that day with President Bush in the classroom, reading to a bunch of kids. "Why did Bush take so long to lay down the books and get to work" was the message of the day, from the Marxist Media. And we have been at war within ourselves, since that moment. With 9/11, the Democrat strategists thought they could turn this terrible day into a political opportunity to put them back into power. That is what it meant to them. Disgraceful. And the blame Bush idiocy continues to this day.
On May 27, 2002, Time magazine ran an incriminating story dealing with the question of what Bush knew before 9/11 entitled: While America Slept . Not a word, ever, from the Marxist media about Bill Clinton's failed intelligence policies. Nothing ever, about what he knew and he knew plenty.
On January 19 of 2004, the Washington Post ran this headline over a story critical of the time it took Bush to leave the classroom, that day in 2001: On 9/11, a Telling Seven-Minute Silence
Just thought I would mention all this, lest you have forgotten.
Update: I want to add a caveat to ALL of the above: I do not blame Clinton. His policies -- AS IT TURNS OUT -- opened the door for this tragedy. But, if you are going to blame Bush, I have a much much better case against Clinton. The fact remains that none of us really saw this coming. We had never been attacked in the Homeland. While we should have known, the mistakes that were made were not malicious in intent. While "innocent of the charges" is not appropriate, certainly "not guilty" is. We have learned some very serious lessons. No need to charge Clinton or Bush as murderers deserving of criminal trials -- but, again, if you are going down that path with Bush, I can and will do the same Clinton . . . . . don't want to, but if you want to start that battle, my side will finish it.
