Should Todd Akin quit the race against Claire McCaskill?

Growing calls from the GOP demanding that Todd Akin quit his bid to unseat Caire McCaskill. Akin is a tea-party candidate and McCaskill donated 10k to help in his primary bid. So, she got the man of her dreams, but, before the silliness Akin pulled, two days ago, he was up in the polling by 12 points.

The GOP has plenty of time to rehabilitate the man, but, apparently, no such grace is being advanced if one is tea-party candidate.
