You can't believe the surveys that have Obama "up" by a respectable margin, and here is why:

In a recent USAToday/Gallup poll of whoever answered the phone,  Obama has opened a nine point lead over Romney in Ohio, Virginia, Florida and North Carolina while the non-partisan Rasmussen poll has Obama up by just 5 points in a survey with a 4.5 margin of error factor.

The chart on the left shows the history of Obama's approval numbers.  You are looking at the classic "hockey stick" graph, Obama dropping into the 45/50 percentile bracket before the end of his first year and being there since that time.  Keep in mind that this impostor of a national CEO won the election by [only] 7% of the popular vote when this approval rating  ---  and this is the critical part --- was at 65%.  His approval rating has lost 15 to 20 points since that time, depending upon the current news cycle.    And,  his rating among those who "strongly approve" (the  worker bees of the New Marxist Movement) has dropped from nearly 50% to 22/27%.  I maintain that he cannot win re-election unless and until this bit of numerology is resolved and,  I say "resolved,"  because this circumstance is critically problematic to his re-election.  If not,  then numbers mean nothing.

As a layman observer,  but one who has been watching these numbers for nearly four years,  I do not allow myself to forget that this foreigner in our White House spent nearly a billion dollars in 2008,  to win an election by just 7% of the vote.  Absolutely no one can convince me that he has, somehow, improved his popularity since that election.  No.  Thankfully and as it turns out, Obama was at the top of his game in November of 2008.

There is much that we do not know or understand about this man,  but there is much that we do know,  especially as to his intentions for this country.  Most importantly, he is not a big government Democrat.  He is an anti-colonialist, a "one worlder."  He spent 22 years in Jeremiah Wright's church,  theologically raised (from age 25 to age 47) by a man who hates the white man's religion and the white man's America. "God-damn the United States of America"  was a statement Wright is famous for  making.  Few understand what he meant.  This Black Liberation minister was talking about the white man's "United States of America."  Wright has dedicated his life to changing the national conversation.  So too, his "son in the Gospel,"  Barack Hussein Obama.

"Barack knows that we are going to have to make sacrifices; we are going to have to change our conversation; we're going to have to change our traditions, our history; we're going to have to move into a different place as a nation."  - Michelle Obama, May of 2008.

Obama is stuck in a minority opinion and the only way he wins is to so discourage the larger and more conservative electorate from voting,  that he wins,  almost by default.  That is what you are looking at with  the "hockey stick" chart  --  "stuck on zero," as it were,  with nowhere to go, unless, of course,  he can convince the observing public of an illusion of acceptability.

The majority opinion has been set in stone for years,  but if too many stay home on November 6th  (and, typically,  nearly half the population will do just that), he has a chance.  Otherwise,  this election will be a historic landslide against this Marxist Misfit and his cretin minority.
