Finally, the CBO numbers on Obama's jobs bill, you know, the one that is fully paid for:

The Congressional Budget Office reports that the "American Jobs Act" would make the federal deficit jump $288 billion in 2012.

From the CBO report, we have this:

CBO estimates that enacting the bill would increase the budget deficit by $288 billion in 2012 and decrease deficits by $3 billion over the 2012-2021 period. That estimated deficit reduction of $3 billion over the coming decade is the net effect of $447 billion in additional spending and tax cuts in titles II through III and $450 billion in additional tax revenue from the offsets specified in title IV.

What we have, here, is " . . . massive spending and deficits for a temporary stimulus bill now, paid for with a permanent tax hike," according to Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell.

Understand this: legislation such as this, binds no one to any stated course of action. Congress can change any legislation that interferes with its unique agenda. Whatever the 111th passed into law can be changed by the 112th or the 113th congress. One of the major major differences between the two parties has to do with this very issue. Republican congresses never change legislation that has been established by previous legislatures. The modern day Democrat Party will do so at the drop of a hat. Example: one of the first things Obama did, after ascending the throne, was to unilaterally forfeit treatise with Poland and Georgia that promised missile defense systems for each country. Example: there are three trade treatises sitting on Obama's desk; been there since he took office. He is using them as ransom for the passage of a revised 2011 Trade Adjustment Assistance program. This was originally the brain child of the big spender, George Bush. It provides 104 weeks of income assistance and retraining assistance to workers replaced by foreign trade agreements. It is a program primarily for union workers, (the remaining 94 percent of the non-union population do not count with the Establishment politicians) having made $30 per hour or more for the past 26 weeks (link).

Point of post: so much of what is going on with this bunch of degenerate Democrats is smoke and mirrors. They show no honor for what the "opposition" has done. They will lie as the moment dictates. And, they simply do not believe the government can run out of money. Don't believe me? Well, just keep it in mind. Maybe you will see the light some day, kind of like I did some 30 years ago.
