Obama plans to continue the blame game

WHouse warns risk of another recession unless jobs bill passes...

Our first headline of the morning is one that is rather humorous in its stated message and transparent as to its purpose.

Humorous in its stated message: I say "humorous" because we are already in a recession. I know the technical definition for "recession." But that is not the definition used when folks pass on their opinion that the "Bush" recession began in January of 2008. A "recession" is [officially] two consecutive negative quarters of GDP. That did not happen until the end of 2008. If you argue that the "Bush" recession started at the beginning of 2008, then you are stuck with the consequent fact that we have been in a continuing recession since that time.

Transparent as to . . . purpose: the Man has no effective ideas for dealing with the recession. That is why this latest "stimulus" is a copy of the 2009 stimulus. From the beginning of his time in office he has been blaming others. Of course, in the beginning, he was right. But he accepted "co-responsibility" when it became obvious that his schemes had failed. More than that, he owns the recession, today, because of the policies he is pursuing, policies that are postponing the recovery. He is so far behind in the polls, that "passing the buck" is a must for this clown. The plan is to stop blaming Bush and begin blaming the GOP.

Will he be able to pass the blame onto House Republicans if the Senate fails to pass the bill, next week? No. Understand that, by all reports, there are 17 Democrats in the Senate who do not want to vote a tax increase into law during a recession. If that remains a constant, the bill will never survive in that elective body. In fact, the scheduled vote for next week, will not happen unless the Hapless Reid can force a change of mind on his Senate subservients.
