Never heard of a KK Hucksterism? Well , we give you a perfect example in this post.

From the New York Times, we have this header:

Obama Speech Signals a U.S. Shift on Middle East

Our first KK Hucksterism** of the day is found in this article from the New York Times:

Mr. Obama said conflicts like the one in the Middle East ended up “costing us significantly in terms of both blood and treasure” — drawing an explicit link between the Israeli-Palestinian strife and the safety of American soldiers as they battle Islamic extremism and terrorism in Iraq, Afghanistan and elsewhere.

Mr. Obama’s words reverberated through diplomatic circles in large part because they echoed those of Gen. David H. Petraeus, the military commander overseeing America’s wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. In recent Congressional testimony, the general said that the lack of progress in the Middle East created a hostile environment for the United States. He has denied reports that he was suggesting that soldiers were being put in harm’s way by American support for Israel. end of quote.

Note the convoluted nature of this article. While the two authors present Obama's decision to abandon Israel (our interpretation) as he claims loss of American life due to the Palestinian/Israeli conflict, these same two writers make an effort at tying Obama's anti-Semitic remarks to those of General Patraeus. Before they finish, however, they admit to Patraeus' denial -- turns out the "echo" wasn't an "echo" after all. What we have, here, is a patented twisting of the facts, ala KK Hucksterism.

Look, Landler and Cooper (our two authors) write at such a fevered pitch, they stumble over the facts of their own story and cannot finish their article without contradicting their own predetermined bias -- and so we have Obama echoing Patraeus while Patraeus is pictured as denying that echo.

The fact of the matter is this: Obama stands alone on this matter. He is about to "out" Israel's nuclear secrets as he calls for Israel to surrender their nuclear arsenal; Netanyahu knows this and refused to attend the nuclear conference for that reason. .

Under Obama's watch, we are witnessing the destabilization of the Middle East. In his Ciaro speech, Obama labeled Israel an "aggressor." He has allocated the gift of nearly one billion dollars to the Palestinian terrorist organzation, Hamas. He has prevented Israeli nuclear scientists from leaving this country enroute to their homeland. He stopped a shipment of "bunker buster" bombs to Israel. He has publicly humiliated Netanyahu on several occasions. He has allowed Syria to move 400 missiles into Lebanon without so much as an objection and he has done so little to prevent Iran from getting a nuclear bomb that, just yesterday, we found a headline telling us the Russians believe Iran will have "the bomb" by August of this year.

Obama's incompetence could not be more apparent. Most importantly, in his anti-Semitic stance, he acts alone.

**KK Hucksterism : while "KKK" will forever represent bias coupled with violence, "KK" is bias without the violence. Hucksterism is the propagation of "shoddy goods." "KK Hucksterism," then, speaks for itself. --- jds.
