How many times has Midknight Review said, "Before he is done, he might get us all killed." Well, here is the beginning of that possibility.

At left is the picture of a mad man. He poses a real and present danger to both the economy of this country and the very safety of our society.

For some reason, the New York Times is the first to report that Hussein Obama, and we do mean Hussein, is going to forbid the testing of any new atomic weaponry by the United States. The story is found here. There are so many things wrong with this strategy that it nearly boggles the mind. Perhaps the most ridiculous aspect of this conclusion is the following:

Mr. Obama’s strategy is a sharp shift from those of his predecessors and seeks to revamp the nation’s nuclear posture for a new age in which rogue states and terrorist or. ganizations are greater threats than traditional powers like Russia and China.

To imagine that anyone thinks a "rogue nation" is somehow a greater threat than either Russia or Red China is beyond belief. Apparently Hussein doesn't understand that rogue nations such as Venezuela or Iran or Cuba or N. Korea or Syria, all have their military power supplied to them by either Communist Russia or Red China. Just yesterday, it was announced that Russia is going to supply Chavez and the Venezuelan government with 5 billion dollars worth of military supply.

Update: 4/6/10. In just a few days, Obama will sign a nuclear non-proliferation and arms reduction treaty with the Russians. Nuclear warhead arsenals for the US will be cut from 2200 warheads to 1500. Numbers are not available for the Russian reduction. This treaty agreement will be used as "cover" for Obama's decision to leave off U.S. nuclear development and sorely limit the use of our nuclear weapons arsenals as a matter of policy.

Because of all this, he will be presented to the public as the "President of peace" by the Marxist Media when the fact is that George Bush used the military to insure peace in our homeland while cutting back our nuclear warhead arsenal from a count of 6000 down to the current number of 2200.

Understand that China continues to support North Korea while it increases its own nuclear stockpile, creates new and improved weaponry and builds up its armed forces at all levels. At the same time, Russia continues its military partnership with Cuba, Venezuela, Syria, [perhaps] Brazil and Iran. Obama has decided to ignore reality and proceed with the naive and publicly announced notion that secular oriented altruism will triumph over the military interests of the "enemy." In fact, Mr. Obama apparently believes the United States has no "enemies." Whatever.

Two very important considerations as relates to this nonsense: first, Obama cannot do lasting harm to this country if he is thrown out of office in 2012. Secondly, with the passage of health care behind him, he has given the conservative opposition an even greater cause for the coming elections in 2010 - perhaps for the 2012 election as well.
