Well, this may come as a surprise to some, but the United States is not considered the best country in which to live. Go figure.
Land mass wise, we are one of the larger nations in this world. The scenery is certainly as varied as any with 14,000 foot mountain ranges to desserts in Death Valley. Beaches, piney woods, huge cities; the decadent lifestyle typified by the scene in San Francisco to the Bible Belt and the State of Missouri. Rivers, lakes, liberals and conservatives. What's not to like. But we have not been at the top of this chart for 7 years, now !! The sad thing is that we got beat out by France (No. 1) and Germany (No. 3) . Ouch !! Note: Britain is number 25 and Mexico, Cuba, Venezuela, China, Brazil, North Korea, India, and Iran are nowhere to be found.
