Here is a critical conversation regarding withholding military aid to Ukraine that will be completely ignored by Trump's Opposition.

Here is part of a text converation between Bill Taylor,  a top diplomate in the Ukraine and the Ambassador to the E.U., Gordon Sondland

Taylor:  As I said on the phone,  I think its crazy to withhold security assistance for help with a political campaign.

Sondland replies:  Bill,  I believe you are incorrect aboutPresident Trump's intentions.  The President has been crystal clear:  no quid pro quo's of any kind.  The President is trying to evaluate whether Unkraine is truly going to adopt the transparency and reforms that President Zelensky promised during the campaign.  I suggest we stop the back andforth by text.

Sept 9, 2019.

This conversation establishes Trump's true intentions well before the release of the whistleblower complaint . . . .   about three weeks before said complaint. This timeline is critical because it references Trump's intent well before any knowledge of a complaint.  In other words,  this conversation is not a defense/explanation against a complaint,  but rather a clarification as to what the President did when he decided to withhold military aid for a period of time in order to confirm a policy move in the Ukraine against government corruption.  And "yes,"  the aid was withheld in the month prior to the complaint's release.  Timelines are important, and the Opposition is ignoring the timeline.

The readership should also note that this military aid was eventually given to Ukraine but WITHOUT any hint of an Ukraine investigation into Biden   . . . .   a timeline of events that destroys the fantasy of a quid pro quo.

As of yesterday, the White House is in the mother of all PR battles. Even the European press understands what is happening.

What a difference a day makes.  Obama's world of media control has apparently blown up in his face.  So bad was yesterday's media events,  that Fox’s Neil Cavuto called it " . . . . the beginning of the mother of all PR battles for the White House."

From the BBC:    There’s new evidence, obtained by ABC, that the Obama administration did deliberately purge references to “terrorism” from accounts of the attack on the Benghazi diplomatic mission, which killed four people including the US ambassador to Libya.   Conservatives have long maintained that the administration deliberately suppressed the truth about the attacks.

This is the first hard evidence that the state department did ask for changes to the CIA’s original assessment.

Note:  of course it is not the “first hard evidence.”  Steven Hayes of the Weekly Standard,  uncovered the initial talking points alternations earlier this week.  Fox News developed a fact based timeline that destroyed Obama’s contrary claims months ago.  It is only “new” to the liberal media,  but,  at least,  they have finally come alive on this issue.

Specifically, they wanted references to previous warnings deleted and this sentence removed: “We do know that Islamic extremists with ties to al-Qa’ida participated in the attack.”  . . . . . .  State department spokesperson Victoria Nuland is directly implicated, and the fingerprints of senior White House aides Ben Rhodes and Jay Carney are there as well.

Editor's notes:  Proof that the major media has finally come alive on the Benghazi issue,  is found in the Friday press conference,  an hour long ordeal that was contentious and full of difficult-to-answer questions for Jay Carney.

Also, CNN’s Erin Burnett lead her afternoon broadcast (4 pm pacific time) with a 12 minute review of the press conference and the shameful attempt to keep secret,  the violent complicity of the Libyan Jihadist community in the deaths of our four diplomats.

As is usually the case in such matters,  it is not the “crime” that gets politicians in trouble,  but their feckless ability to cover-up.  That is what defeated Nixon.  Perhaps Obama will face the same fate.  We can only hope for the best,  on this one.

The Administration sham that is being called, "The Sequester," now includes the lies about air-controller layoffs and control tower shut downs. The truth? the control towers were on a "shut down list" already and flight controllers will be "laid off" two days a month.

We find this headline in Bloomberg.com:

FAA to Close 149 U.S. Airport Towers After Budget Cuts

One immediately thinks of “sequester.”

Two things to consider,  here:  first,  the article blames the Administration,  not the Sequester,  per se.  In other words,  Obama is the big loser in all this talk about Sequester cuts.

Secondly,  within the article itself,  we learn that most of the nation’s small airports,  nearly 5,000 in total,  do not have flight control towers, at all . . . . . never did.

Planes, including airliners, can continue to fly to airports without towers. Most of the roughly 5,000 U.S. public airports don’t have towers. Instead of being guided by controllers, pilots radio each other to coordinate landings and takeoffs, according to FAA procedures.

In addition to the above,  you will be hearing about flight controller “lay offs,”  with the Administration blaming the Sequester,  something (the Sequester) the Administration dreamed up on its own,  without bipartisan help,  and promised to embarrass the GOP if they did not vote for the legislation.

Just remember that when you start hearing about these “lay offs,” they are talking two days a month,  with the money being refunded to the controllers at the end of the lay off period.

Even the Very Liberal Media (US Today) sees serious problems with the Obama Middle East strategy.

<<<<<<    Signs showing deep dissatisfaction with Obama,  line many of the streets in Israel.

The rest of this story is found in the  not-so-Compliant Media.

In negative summary article of Obama’s Middle East policy,  found in the very liberal US Today,  we have  the following headline and news excerpts:

U.S is now less popular in the region than at the end of the George W. Bush administration.

Despite downgrading the trip, many see Obama's arrival as the sequel to his 2009 visit to Cairo, where he announced a "new beginning" with the Muslim world. Four years later, that doesn't auger well for renewed efforts in Israel and the West Bank. According to the latest survey by the Pew Research Center's Global Attitudes Project, confidence in Obama in Muslim countries dropped from 33% to 24% in his first term. Approval of Obama's policies declined even further, from 34% to 15%. And support for the United States in Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon and Pakistan is lower today than it was in 2008 in the closing year of George W. Bush's administration. That collapse of support has not happened elsewhere.
You know that Obama is in trouble with his own Leftist Media,  when the comparison to Bush,  makes Bush look good,  and that is exactly what is happening in the Compliant Media  . . . . .   just in time for the coming 2014 midterm elections.  US Today continues with this comparison:

President Obama's first journey to Israel as president comes amid earth-shattering change in Middle East, much of it for the worse. The Arab Spring, which once raised hopes of freedom and dignity, has diverged onto the dark path of Islamist authoritarian rule. In Syria, tens of thousands of people have died in a bitter civil war that might have recently seen its first use of chemical weapons. And Iran continues its march toward nuclear weapons capability, heedless of international condemnation. Obama's effort to seek peace between Palestinians and Israelis is in tatters.
In the end,  the socialist One Worlders at US Today,  are having to admit to the dismal and convoluted foreign “policy”  of their current leader,  a man who came out of Harvard with nothing but untested Utopian ideals and the political maturity of a nat.

Zogby Polling criticizes the failures of the Obama Arab policy, just before the Obama Propaganda Industry washes the net of the reuslts.

In a poll conducted by IBOPE Zogby International for the Arab American Institute Foundation**,  I give you the following  conclusions about results Obama’s Middle East policy.
Executive Summary
  1. After improving with the election of Barack Obama in 2008 and his Cairo speech "to the Muslim world,"   U.S. favorable ratings across the Arab world have plummeted. In most countries, Obama's ratings are lower than at anytime during the Bush Administration, and lower than Iran’s favorable ratings (except in Saudi Arabia).
  2.  The continuing occupation of Palestinian lands and U.S. interference in the Arab world are held to be the greatest obstacles to peace and stability in the Middle East,  according this Arab Institute poll.
  3. While many Arabs were hopeful that the election of Barack Obama would improve U.S.-Arab relations, that hope has evaporated. Today, President Obama’s favorable ratings across the Arab world are 10% or less.
  4. Obama’s performance ratings are lowest on the two issues to which he has devoted the most energy: Palestine and engagement with the Muslim world.
  5. The U.S. role in establishing a no-fly zone over Libya receives a positive rating only in Saudi Arabia and Lebanon, but, as an issue, it is the lowest priority.
  6. The killing of bin Laden only worsened attitudes toward the U.S.

** Oooops,  this page has been taken down,  but not in time for M.R. to get the facts of this survey.

A brief review of Obama's trip to Israel. "Brief," we say, because there is so little substance to talk about.

In spite of a decade of talk and failure,  in dealing with Iran,  Obama is now in Israel,  for the first time since 2008,  and touting the same old,  tiresome Progressive/Liberal anti-war rhetoric:

“Now is the time for the Iranian government to take immediate and meaningful steps to reduce tensions and work toward and enduring, long-term settlement to the nuclear issue.”

Those of us with age and perspective,  have heard this kind of talk so often,  meaningless and without results,  that it has become so much gibberish.

To add further embarrassment to Obama’s ineptness as a diplomat and effect negotiator,  CBS News isreporting that he is pursuing a “charm offensive,”  while in Israel,  attempting to circumvent Netanyahu’s influence and move the region away from war,  but without first getting any concessions from Iran.

Obama has been the most detrimental political force to Israel,  coming out of America,  since that nation’s inception.  His policies have helped to turn the Middle East on its head and his assault against a conservative Israeli constituency,  continues with this visit to the “promised land.”   Can he reverse recent polling trends  (Politico.com) ,  in this tiny country,  showing only 10% of Israeli's seeing Obama as supportive of their country?  But more importantly,  can he accomplish anything of substance in a trip to Israel and the Middle East region,  without having committed to a serious diplomatic process that lays a foundation for hopeful results to follow?

• After improving with the election of Barack Obama in 2008, U.S. favorable ratings across the Arab world have plummeted. In most countries they are lower than at the end of the Bush Administration, and lower than Iran’s favorable ratings (except in Saudi Arabia).
• The continuing occupation of Palestinian lands and U.S. interference in the Arab world are held to be the greatest obstacles to peace and stability in the Middle East.

This is what faces Obama,  as an obstacle to what he hopes to accomplish. Since Obama has not bothered to define his mission,  any positive result will be touted by the Compliant Media, and wildly so,  as a raging success.  Anytime you add anything to "zero,"  the results are astronomical.

33 survivors have been threatened by the Obama Administration to "keep quite." They are very afraid, but want to speak out. See video testimony.

(CNSNews.com) - Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) says the Americans who survived the terror attacks in Benghazi, Libya are afraid to talk about what happened on the night of Sept. 11, 2012 when four Americans, including U.S. Ambassador Chris Stevens, were killed.

"I've had contact with some of the survivors. Their story is chilling," Graham told Fox News on Friday.

"The bottom line is, they feel that they cannot come forward. They've been told to be quiet. And at the end of the day, we can't let this administration or any other administration get away with hiding from the American people and the Congress people who were there in real-time to tell the story

Over 8,000 requests for information from the White House have been denied in the past two years, and now, even the Left is getting tired of Obama's duplicity.

Editor's Note:  keep in mind that this complaint comes from the Left.  They laughed at us conservatives for making the same complaint,  when it was happening, more than two years ago.  There were a number of articles in the Conservative Mainstream recording the fact that Obama had a policy against "paper trails,"  that he and his advisers would, more often than not,  meet with lobbyists away from the White House complex,  in coffee houses and private offices to avoid detection, that his Administration encouraged the use of private email accounts and private phone services as it worked tirelessly to "privatize" information that should have been made to the public.

The Obama administration is evil.  Sorry, there is no other adjective to describe it at this point.  They know they are corrupt, they embrace their corruption and now they are doing everything possible to silence anyone who dares call them out on it.  The latest case of Obama’s war on whistleblowers relates to how the Scientific Integrity Officer within the Interior Department, Dr. Paul Houser, was attacked . . . . . . . . . . .

Score another victory for the GOP. Work requirements for welfare folks have been reinstated. Hats off to the GOP.

Since Obama issued a special order, in July of 2012,  allowing HHS to lower work standards for welfare recipients,  standards that have been in place since the Clinton years,  standards that were signed into law by Bill Clinton,  lawmakers on both sides of the aisle have expressed their displeasure.  Today,  a bill that reverses Obama’s order,  passed through both houses of congress,  and made it to his desk.  He signed the bill,  knowing full well,  that a possible over-ride was the next step,  something he did not want to face.

H.R. 890 prohibits the Secretary of Health and Human Services from waiving work requirements in the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) program.  Specifically, the legislation prevents the Secretary from finalizing, implementing, enforcing or otherwise taking any action to give effect to the Information Memorandum that was issued on July 12, 2012 by the Department of Health and Human Services, as it relates to the TANF program and its work requirement. The prohibition includes any administration action that relates to the work requirement or any similar policy. In addition, H.R. 890 prohibits the Secretary from authorizing, approving, renewing, modifying or extending any experimental, pilot, or demonstration project under Section 1115 of the Social Security Act that waives compliance with Section 407, the mandatory work requirement, contained in TANF .  Source:  GOP.gov

Even his own have to admit, his friendship meetings with the GOP are a sham.

This is short and sweet:  the Politico,  a far, far Left leaning digital rag, has had to admit that this past week’s “friendship” tour by B. Obama,  has fooled no one.  It's conclusion is ours:

The truth is Obama has lost some leverage — and needed a bunch of high-profile meetings with adversaries to swat away reports that he’s too stubborn and too political. But, in private, nothing has really changed.

Actually,  it is called,  “Obama’s charm offensive,”  and its reason for existence is noted by Charles Krauthammer:

“Obama’s strongest constituency, which is not the left, it’s the mainstream media, could no longer cover for him without being entirely embarrassed,” Krauthammer observed Friday night on FNC, “It had to expose the one exaggeration after another on the sequester.”

Understand that Obama's popularity has fallen 10 points to 44% ,  in just two weeks.  Republicans,  who always poll poorly,  stand at 40%.  With Independents,  Obama is running at 50% disapproval.  He carries a 41% approval rate with Whites and a 96% approval with the mindless and biased black voter.  You should remember that more than 60% of whites voted for Obama in 2008,  but his arrogant and combative "style" of   "leadership"  has proven to be a serious determent to his political cashe.  And now,  we may be watching the increasing displeasure of the Compliant Media.  Time will tell.

Thoughts about Homeland Security increasing its fire power and armored arsenals here, within the borders of the United States.

The Denver Post, on February 15th, ran an Associated Press article entitled Homeland Security aims to buy 1.6b rounds of ammo, to far too little notice.  It confirmed that the Department of Homeland Security has issued an open purchase order for 1.6 billion rounds of ammunition.  As elsewhere reported, much of this purchase order is for rounds forbidden by international law for use in war plus a frightening amount specialized for snipers.  Also reported elsewhere, at the height of the Iraq War the Army was expending fewer than 6 million rounds a month.  1.6 billion rounds, therefore, would be enough to sustain a hot war for 20+ years.  In America.   (taken from Forbes.com.  You will want to read the full article).

Editor's notes:  Understand that Homeland Security uses around 15 million rounds of ammo annually for target practice.  This recent purchase would supply more than 100 years of ammo for this purchase.  It is safe to say,  therefore,  that this is not the primary purpose for this record setting purchase.  Further,  to put the size of this purchase into context,  we know that this purchase would supply  20 Iraqi wars  . . . . .   THAT is how crazy mystifying this circumstance is.

And the Left pretends to be curious as to why the Right distrusts the Federal Government and the fat ogre's such as John McCain,  who are running the place.

Understand that Homeland,  the DOJ,  the State Department and the Defense Department all run their agenda's per the specific approval of Barack Hussein.  The sad truth of this conclusion is the fact that GOP morons such as John McCain and Lindsey Graham are partly responsible for loading up the "presidency" to the point that a sitting president,  whether Obama or whoever,  can serve this nation as a defacto dictator and do so legally and do so now!!

Rand Paul's filibuster victory was more than a defeat for Eric Holder; it ran the Obama Administration into hiding as to the total number killed by drone. That information has been destroyed because of Paul.

The AirForceTimes.com gives this report:

Defense Department spokesman Cmdr. Bill Speaks said the department was not involved in the decision to remove the statistics. AFCENT (Air Force Central Command)  did not respond to a request for comment by press time.

The data removal coincided with increased scrutiny on RPA policy caused by President Barack Obama’s nomination of John Brennan to head the CIA. Brennan faced opposition in the Senate over the use of RPAs and his defense of their legality in his role as Obama’s deputy national security adviser.

On Feb. 20, two days before the metadata indicates the scrubbed files were created, Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., sent a letter to Brennan saying that he would filibuster the nomination over concerns about using RPA strikes inside the U.S., a threat he carried out for over 12 hours on March 6 (Brennan was confirmed the next day).

That same day, Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., told a crowd in South Carolina that strikes by American RPAs have killed 4,700 people.

“Sometimes you hit innocent people, and I hate that, but we’re at war, and we’ve taken out some very senior members of al-Qaida,” Graham was quoted by the Patch website as saying.

Editor's notes:  in summary,  we learn that the military has scrubbed all references to the death count by drone in the Afghan War Theater.  This occurred just two days after Senator Rand Paul sent a letter to John Brennan announcing his opposition to some of the strategies in the Obama drone war.   making it clear to those of us who can handle the truth,  that the Administration was preparing a cover-up as relates to the number of incidental deaths in the Afghan/Pakistan drone war.  The last numbers I read spoke of 46 al Qaeda leaders killed and 4500 "neighbors" to these bombings, also killed,  as "collateral" damage.

Of course,  in the beginning of this Obama bombing strategy,  Barry tried to assure the critics that no innocents would be killed under his drone strategy,  only enemy combatants.  Of course,  with the first strike,  his words have proven to be, yet, another lie and now,  we will not know the total of innocents killed,  going forward.  But no big deal;  Lindsey Graham has assured us that this war and the deaths of innocents is to be expected.  Apparently this military moralist is fine with killing 100 people to get one al-Qaeda dead guy.

Because this Administration no longer captures and interrogates,  we now know less about the group and their immedicate and short term plans, than in 2000.

Rand Paul's Victory Statement versus the Bobbsey Twins who are angry because they are losing power and influence within the GOP. Feckless conservatives, both.

<<<  These two buffoons have been complaining about Benghazi for nearly six months  and have accomplished absolutely nothing.  Rand Paul backed down Obama in just 13 stinking hours !!!!

Mar 7, 2013 Paul's Victory Statement
Today, following a historic 13-hour filibuster on the Senate floor that ended early this morning, Sen. Rand Paul received correspondence from the White House regarding the legality and constitutionality of the U.S. government using lethal force, including drone strikes, on Americans and in U.S. territory.  Sen. Paul's repeated correspondence to President Obama's nominee to be CIA director, John Brennan, was finally answered today, in part, with the following response from Attorney General Eric Holder: "'Does the President have the authority to use a weaponized drone to kill an American not engaged in combat on American soil?' The answer to that question is no."
"This is a major victory for American civil liberties and ensures the protection of our basic Constitutional rights. We have Separation of Powers to protect our rights. That's what government was organized to do and that's what the Constitution was put in place to do," Sen. Paul said. "I would like to congratulate my fellow colleagues in both the House and Senate and thank them for joining me in protecting the rights of due process."

Editor's notes:  Understand that while the Bobbsey Twins are attacking Sen. Paul for a successful filibuster, he is busy claiming a measured but real victory - something that neither McCain nor Graham have been able to accomplish in the four years Obama has been president -- and it took Paul must just 13 hours and a little backbone.

Few things have pleased this old editor more than watching the two Senators make fools of themselves.  the tide is turning WITHIN the GOP,  and when we get our party back,  look out all you commie Progressives.

The Sequester kicked in and Wall Street numbers went up AND the economy continued to improve. How did this happen?

The Sequester kicked in and Wall Street numbers went up AND the economy has  continued to improve.  How did this happen?

Understand, there is nothing new about the Obama "slash and burn" strategies. Ditto for the fear tactics of the Left.  Obama is not doing anything new;  he is just doing what the Dems have always done,  only working full time at the strategy.

Today,  we found out that the economy was continuing to grow.  236,000 jobs were created in spite of the fear of a looming sequester.  The stock market is operating at record highs,  and that has been the case for the last week or so.  The housing market is improving.  More people are beginning to look for work and the unemployment rate decreased fro 7.9 to 7.7 percent.

The 70,000 teachers who would be laid off because of the Sequester?  Liberal fact-check concerns found that not a single teacher had received a lay off notice.

Fire and police responders were going to reduced,  when,  in fact, federal funds do not pay for these services.  This was nothing but an empty threat designed,  by Obama,  to scare the GOP into moving away from the Sequester.

Lines at the airports were going to increase by 200 percent.  And Homeland security made these predictions,  only to have to admit that nothing had changed at the nation's largest airports.

All and all,  the American people now knows that Obama's claim that the "sky is falling,"  is nothing but a lie. He has lost 7 points in popularity measurement survey by Gallup,  lost popularity in just one week  -  all because he over played his fear mongering hand.

Lindsey Graham and his buds, no doubt, side with Obama and the policy of presidential death by drone.

After having a good meal with B Obama,  a man bent on the destruction Lindsey Graham’s GOP,  he [Graham] had this to say about the filibuster that was going on while he was picking his teeth along with B Obama and  the GOP RHINO Herd sitting at the table:

“This idea that we’re going to use a drone to attack a citizen in a cafe in America is ridiculous. . . . . .  I do not believe that question deserves an answer

Apparently Graham thinks trust is an effective rebuttal to the Congressionally sanctioned abuse of presidential power and the new policy of death by presidential decree.  In short,  Graham is a political moron.  He and his RINO buds gave the presidency the power to allow a dictator minded commie (whoever that might be) to, one day,  rule legally without regard to congress or the judiciary branch of government.

Update:  McCain officially joined his compromised buddy,  Lindsey Graham,  as he went to the floor of the Senate, this Thursday morning,  to blast Rand Paul for Paul's filibuster,  on the grounds that Rand Paul violated and/or  disrespected the rules of the Senate.

First there was the lie that 70,000 teachers are being furloughed. Not even one has been laid off. Now Homeland Security is lying about airport delays. Conclusion: the Sequester disaster is a big Zero.

From the Daily Telegraph:

Ms Napolitano said today that major airports were seeing lines "150 to 200 per cent as long as we would normally expect" as result of the federal spending cuts that went into force on Friday.
"We're already seeing the effects at some of the ports of entry, the big airports, for example. Some of them had very long lines this weekend," she told a breakfast event organised by Politico.
When pressed for specifics she cited Chicago's O'Hare, Atlanta's Hartfield-Jackson and Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), adding: "I don't mean to scare, I mean to inform."
However, when contacted by The Daily Telegraph, spokespeople for both O'Hare and LAX, as well as representatives from the travel industry, denied that airports had been hit by delays.
"We haven't had any slowdowns at all," said Marshall Lowe, a spokesman for LAX. Mr Lowe said that he had been on duty over the weekend and received no reports of unusual security delays.

Anyone notice that the hapless GOP just beat Obama, once again ?

The White House is retreating from its doomsday predictions about the impact of the $85 billion in federal spending cuts as they enter a second week -- with Republican leaders appearing at least satisfied about delivering on their promise to limit government spending and hold down taxes.
Gene Sperling, the White House's top economic adviser, repeatedly said Sunday the cuts will not hurt as much on “Day One” as they will over the long haul.
“Nobody ever suggested that this … was going to have all its impact in the first few days,” he told “NBC’s “Meet the Press.” “It is a slow grind.” . . . . . .  . . Read more at FoxNews.com

Editor's notes:  Of course,  we all know that B Obama did nothing but preach fear and panic the two weeks before Sequester kicked in and now,  he stands to be proven, once again,  that he did not know what he was talking about.

His plan to use Sequester to further divide the nation and win, big,  in 2014, just took another hit.  Nearly 60% of the American people believe that Sequester was and is the only way Congress will ever cut anything.

Afghanistan: We can kiss a “negotiated peace” good bye. We all need to admit that under Obama, we have lost this war.

At least half the Afghan Taliban recently freed from Pakistani prisons have rejoined the insurgency, a Pakistani intelligence official says, throwing into question the value of such goodwill gestures that the Afghan government requested to restart a flagging peace process. . . . . Despite some recent signs from the Taliban that they are willing to share power and want to avoid a civil war, the militants may well be playing for time until 2014.
Editor’s notes:  this news release proves Obama’s catch and release philosophy to be a miserable failure,  moronic in its inception and criminal in terms of wasted American lives and taxpayer funding. . . . . . . .  read the full article here at gatewaypundit.com

Still think Obama's Administration is the most transparent in history? Maybe you should read this.

A four-year FBI investigation into the transfer of classified weapons technology to China and other countries from NASA’s Ames Research Center is being stonewalled by government officials, sources tell FoxNews.com.

Bob Woodward, the man who brought Nixon down, is telling it "like it is" regarding Obama and his role in creating the Sequester "crisis."

I am republishing this article found in the Washington Post,  and written by the man who helped to expose and dethrone Richard Nixon,  Bob Woodward.  General, I publish only excerpts,  but since this blog is a free blog intended for the political education of the otherwise ignorant masses,  AND Woodward’s reference(s) to his book is seen by this editor as an advertisement,  I have decided to reprint the article.
In the article,  Woodward, a Democrat pundit, an associate editor for the Washington Post and a paid political analyst for Fox News, is making the case that the coming Sequester is more the creation of Obama and his soon to be Secretary of the Treasury,  Jack Lew,  than the work of a belligerent Republican Party.
In the article,  he accuses the man he supported for president,  of misstatements and “classic contortions of partisan message management.”    We agree.

By Bob Woodward, Friday, February 22, 2:59 PM
Bob Woodward (woodwardb@washpost.com) is an associate editor of The Post. His latest book is “The Price of Politics.” Evelyn M. Duffy contributed to this column.
Misunderstanding, misstatements and all the classic contortions of partisan message management surround the sequester, the term for . . . . . . . . . . . .
