Another phony poll, stacked against the GOP, Democrats are "ahead" of the GOP in the swing states of Florida, Ohio, and Pennsylvania.

Florida: Obama edges Romney 51- 45 percent;
Ohio: Obama over Romney by a slim 50 - 44 percent;
Pennsylvania: Obama tops Romney 53 - 42 percent.

This poll,  a Quinnipiac poll,  shows its political demographics weighted heavily in favor of Democrats.   How many times have we seen this polling strategy?  And it will continue right up to election day.  Never forget, the night before the November election of years gone by,  NBC had Bill Clinton ahead of Bob Dole by 21 points  --  an outrageous polling lie.  In the end,  Dole lost by 8 points,  but how many voters were so discouraged by the NBC poll,  they decided to say home?

                   LIKELY VOTERS...
                     FL     OH     PA

Democrat             47%    51%    55%
Republican           40     39     37

Understand that polls just prior to the GOP primary election, yesterday,  July 31, showed tea-party favorite, Ted Cruz behind his GOP Establishment Opponent,  by a margin 8 points.  Cruz won the primary election by a whopping 13%.

Conclusion:  the Marxist Media will work for Democrats, first,  and Establishment "anyone" second.  Their goal to keep the deck stacked against Americans who rule the right to self-rule,  a primary principle in the Revolution that brought this nation into existence.

Conclusion #2:  if you are not a conspiracy freak,  you simply cannot know the truth concerning Democrat political strategy.

One poll - two results: Obama leads 58-35 or is it Romney 53% and Obama, 46.5%?

Raleigh, N.C. – Barack Obama is in no danger of losing Massachusetts, but his lead there has shrunk since the last time PPP polled the state in March. Obama leads Romney by 16 points, 55-39, down from a whopping 23-point lead three months ago when Romney was in the midst of getting battered by his Republican primary rivals. At that point, Obama led 58-35.   . . . . .

Here is why I am not worried about this poll.  In fact,  I think it proves that Romney is in great shape in Massachusetts.  Yes  --  GREAT SHAPE,  I say.

And here is my reasoning:

To create the illusion of a monstrous lead for Obama,  PPP queried 39 Democrats for every 13 Republicans questioned.  That’s 3 Democrats for every one Republican.  Let’s break this down,  the “educated Okie way.”

First, using polling stats,  we know that  3 Democrats and 1 Republican gives us a divide of 58/35  (93% responding to the poll).  If we divide this 93 total by 4,  each person in the poll represented 23.25% of the total.   But there is a problem.  3 Democrats  x 23.25 equals  66.75 %, not 58% which means  some Democrats questioned moved to the Romney camp,  in this survey.

If the poll had questioned an equal number of Dems and Republicans,  and all else was equal,  Romney would have polled close to 53% and Obama,  46.5%.

Of course,  Dems outnumber Republicans in the state,  nearly 2 to 1.  The race will rest on turn out  --  but Massachusetts is not a winner for Romney, unless, of course,  the Dems are so discouraged with the phony they have at the head of their party,  that they simply stay at home.

Understand that from now to election day,  we will be fed a steady stream of phony polling statistics.  This PPP is a typical Leftist trick.  Always look for the polls “justification” or “methodology.”  In most polls (90% of the time) showing Democrat strength,  the demographics favor the Dems.

Gallup claims 52% of Republicans blame Bush for the crisis we are experiencing today. Here is why that is funny/bogus.

New Gallup poll shows that Bush is blamed for the current economic crisis,  after 3 years of failure on the part of Obama,  by a margin of 68% to 52%.

Understand that I never post a partisan poll without first, reviewing the methodological statements used to justify the polling data.  Public Policy Polling,  for example, is seldom used by me because of its consistent “stacking” principle,  more than often stacking the opinion of the poll with a 58/45 split,  Democrats to Republicans.

When I went to the Gallup section justifying its poll,  it had closed one page of information and failed to give even a hint at how the poll’s demographics were figured.  The poll was 40/60 cell phone versus land lines, and only one question was reproduced,  question number 15.  Usually, a group of two, three or four questions are related to each other.  We were denied that information.  In 5 years of blogging,  I have seldom seen such incompetence in the offering of polling information.

When a poll fails to presents its “justification,”  polling results,  if extreme,  can give insight into the bias of the particular poll.  Those of us who are conservative (me) or “Republican,”  know full well that 52% of Republicans do not blame Bush primarily,  for the crisis we are now witnessing,  in 2012.

Gallups tells us:   Interviews are conducted with respondents on landline telephones and cellular phones, with interviews conducted in Spanish for respondents who are primarily Spanish-speaking. Each sample includes a minimum quota of 400 cell phone respondents and 600 landline respondents, with additional minimum quotas among landline respondents by region. Landline numbers are chosen at random among listed telephone numbers, cell phone numbers are selected using random-digit dial methods. Landline respondents are chosen at random within each household on the basis of which member had the most recent birthday.

We all know that 68% of Democrats were born in the month of June**,  which gives insight as to the bias of this Gallup poll.

Polling for Obama is so bad, the Left is having to misrepresent his approval numbers. Latest effort ? Washington Post/ABC.

Rasmussen begins the 2012 showing Obama with 47% approval and a disturbing (for Obama) 24% as a "strongly approve."  In his 2008 election bid,  which he won by only 7% of the popular vote,  his approval number was 65% and his "strongly approve" rating was 48%.

When we turn to Gallup,  Obama's situation is not any better.  Last week,  at one point,  the Left was cheering at Gallup's "50% approval." Today,  he is back to a 46% rating, Obama losing 4 points in a matter of days.

PEW is a third poll used by Midnight Review.  That research concern has Obama at 50%,  down from 65% during his 2008 election.

The point of all this,  is to document the fact that Obama is simply not as popular as he was four years ago. While that may not be a surprise to any reading this blog,  sometimes we forget about this reality.

Take the Washington Post/ABC poll of two days ago;  that poll had Obama ahead of Mitt Romney, nationally,  by 9 points.  I have to laugh,  and, keeping this post in mind,  you should enjoy a chuckle, as well.

First,  on its face, the fact that this poll is a Post/ABC production means that it cannot be trusted at all.  Without exception,  when I dive into the demographics of such a poll,  I find a one weighted in favor of the Left.  This poll,  actually taken on April the 8th,  is no different.

The polling population for this Post/ABC poll  was 34 to 23 percent,  Democrat over Republican.

Even with such a biased poll and since early November of 2011,  Romney's approval numbers have steadily improved,  running upward from a 24% mark to 39%.  While that number is not good enough to win, if, in fact, it was a true number,  Romney is trending in the right direction with has six months to go before the general election.

Here are the categorical results of this Post/ABC poll,  keeping in mind that 30% more Democrats were polled than were Republicans.

Dealing with the economy  (47 -49)
Protecting the middle class  (49 – 39 )
Creating jobs  (46 – 43)
Handling international affairs  (53 – 36)
Supporting small business (Obama 47 – Romney 45)
Handling taxes  (45 – 42)
Dealing with health care policy (Obama 48 to Romney 38)
Handling the federal budget deficit (38 – 51)
Handling terrorism  (47-40)
Dealing with social issues such as abortion and gay marriage (46 – 38)
Addressing women’s issues  (53-34).

I have highlighted (in red) those areas in which Obama would have run behind Romney,  had this poll been taken from an equally divided population.  Again,  the poll was weight in favor of Democrats, 34% to 23%.
