Mission Statement: This blog reviews the news of the day in light of 242 years of American history. "Nationalism," a modern day pejorative, has been our country's politic throughout history, until 2008. Obama changed that narrative. Trump is seeking a return to our historical roots. Midknight Review supports this return to normality.
A champion for the criminally minded . . . . that's his legacy.
No, in cooperation with Canada, this is Obama's legacy, (and there is nothing you filthy polluters can do about it). President Obama has protected more than 548 million acres of federal land and water, more than double any of his predecessors. Now THAT is a legacy!
Obama does not have a legacy, you moron. 548 million acres "protected." Bull. Because he stole this land and its mineral rights from associated states has nothing to do with "protection," but has much to do with the slowest economy since WW II . He gets what he deserves . . . and that is "nothing."
More of the Obama legacy. U.S. manufacturing job openings at 9-year high. Compare the economy Obama he inherited from the last GOP president to economy he's passing off to Trump..
And yet, we are down 5 million manufacturing jobs since 2000.
Seriously, you are comparing 2008 to 2016? Obama announced the recovery worked, in 2010. First president to not reach 3% GPD. Highest poverty rates in recent history. Ditto food stamp population. Most Americans out of work since the 1970's.
I guess it depends on your source. My sources show a 3.31 GDP in March of 2015. On a year to year basis, what I have been saying is absolutely correct.

Wrong? Me? Guess again. That third quarter 3.5 GDP had this effect on 2016, as a whole . . . and I quote from your referenced article:
"Despite the improved reading in the quarter, it won't move the needle much for all of 2016. The U.S. economy grew at a sluggish pace in the first half of the year, averaging 1.1%, and many economists still forecast around 2% growth for the entire year. "
Actually, Obama's GDP annualized average for the eight year period is 1.8% , slowest economy since WW II. What do you expect. The man knows nothing about finance, and too dumb to know what he does not know. On top of being a lazy ass (5 years of doing nothing but giving speeches and playing golf .. . . yes, I said "5 years" and I am being conservative . . . assuming 10 hour days, 7 days a week . . . . you know, kind of like how Trump actually works. Our of the 8 years, Barack did not work more than 3 of those years, and I can prove it. That is why he is leaving office without a freaking legacy.

Find a new talking point, gross domestic product increased at an annual rate of 3.5 percent in the third quarter of 2016.
