The LGBT community in the US is about the same size as the Jewish population in the US (and probably larger because of the failure to self report). It's not an insignificant demographic.
Indeed, when you factor in all supporters, it is a powerful lobby. But in terms of practicing homosexual activity and dedicated lifestyle, you are looking at less that 4% of the population according to studies done by The Kensey Report. Not sure what the size of this group has to do with anything, however. Should we deny them their rights? Harm them? Absolutely not. Should we allow them to silence all opposition speech and change the historical definition of "marriage? Again, absolutely not. And I have no intention of standing idly by and watch the militant gay nation work to exterminate its opposition. A free country allows debate. A totalitarian country does not.
I intend to ignore the Court's decision on a personal basis. I will continue to counsel those who ask for help, to teach the need for continuing the institution of "marriage" as "one man - one woman," something LGBT opposes, as a matter of fact. Understand that I hired gays . . . . what few came to me for work and were qualified. This is a matter of personal belief and I will continue that belief as a matter of faith.
the "legal" ruling, it immediately changes what is taught in schools, work places etc.. That's what I'm wondering about. Over sexualizing everything. Why would my kindergartener need to be taught about sexual anything? Other than (to quote a movie from the 80's) boys have a penis and girls have a vaginal
