Obama: the first president including Nixon, to carry on an institutionalized campaign against media outlets he cannot control.

Beginning with comments from Obama's first media manager,  the Maoist disciple,  Anita Dunn,  the control of the media is a paramount issue with his Administration.  (see her comments at wnd.com)

The philosophical goal is obvious,  offer interviews and conduct press conferences in such a way that both the questions asked and the answers given,  best serve the Administration.

No president in history has had this philosophy as a systemic aspect of his outreach to the nation.

In days gone by,  what Fox News is guilty of practicing,  is a thing called "investigative journalism."  That simply does not occur with the MSM and MSNBC.  These news outlets have actually stated that the issues at hand are far too important to the nation to demand  objective and critical reporting from the major news outlets.  In so stating,  they have become a tool in Obama's bag of tricks,  and have become partners in crime with the Administration.

No more do the three majors delve into . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

. . . . . .  Fast and Furious,  treating it as a potential scandal.  The second a Republican becomes president,  this same media will completely reverse course and become the opponent of the Administration.

No more do the three majors investigate the 20 failed green energy companies Obama has foolishly "invested" in,  with taxpayer money he confuses as his own.

No more do  the three majors hammer the president for his failed economic policies or the hundreds of lies he had told,  over the course nearly five years.

And the blatantly immoral and criminal conduct of Obama,  Hillary and his State Department, with regard to Benghazi,  has been brushed under the rug with a callousness that surprises even some of his closest supporters.  70 emails pertinent to this incident have been kept from Congress;  all of the surviviors names and locations have been kept secret as well and,  for some,  the question remains:  what did Obama do after he received the news of Benghazi,  the morning of 9/11/2012?

Funny,  I know what he did.  He went on the campaign trail and attended at least one fund raiser,  that very day.  In other words,  this empty suit partied,  and many of you voted for this bit of trailer trash.

So the beat goes.  I doubt that the next Democrat Administration will practice the same disregard for truth and legislative process so typical of this Administration, but we do have four years to go before this nightmare is over,  no matter who wins in 2016.

After notes:

Very rarely did we communicate through the press anything that we didn’t absolutely control,” said Dunn.
“One of the reasons we did so many of the David Plouffe videos was not just for our supporters, but also because it was a way for us to get our message out without having to actually talk to reporters,” said Dunn, referring to Plouffe, who was Obama’s chief campaign manager.
“We just put that out there and made them write what Plouffe had said as opposed to Plouffe doing an interview with a reporter. So it was very much we controlled it as opposed to the press controlled it,” Dunn said.
