Obama sets record for most voters lost in a four year period (10 million) yet continues to talk about a "mandate." So much for the evolution of the American politician.

In an article found at The Hill,  we have these words:   “Critics of Romney’s debate performance say he passed on an easy opportunity to criticize the president over his preparedness for and handling of the attacks on the U.S. Consulate in Libya.

McCain said Romney should have seized that opportunity, but that he did enough to convince voters he would make a strong commander in chief.
“I think in my view it probably would have been something that was on the agenda,” McCain said. “But I also think that Mitt Romney did the job he needed to do and that was show the American people that he has the qualities necessary to be the commander in chief.”

Editor's notes:  Here we go again;  apparently McCain and the RINO clowns on the Right still have not gotten the message.  Romney’s job was to freaking WIN the election,  not demonstrate his overwhelming sense of collegiality  or intellectual preparedness.  Obama had neither. He won strictly on the basis of misinformation, insults, and a certain immature arrogance that typifies the Leftist politician.

Understand that the Right lost this election because its voters decided, again, to stay home.  17 million available voters stayed home.  10 million previous Obama voters and 7 million.  That's a fact.

And while Obama is talking about a "mandate,"  those of us who can think and blog at the same time know that when a man cannot get his own constituency to turn out,  when,  in fact,  he sets a record for the number of lost supporters over a period of four years,  the most EVER for a successful incumbent presidential candidate,  "mandate" rings as hollow as the man's promises.

Time for Sarah and Bachmann and DeMint and the others,  to step up their game.  Understand that of all the demographics in this election,  tea party Conservatives was the only demographic approved and confirmed by the American voter.

  1. The Republican party is the RINO party, and has been for years. This is not news. They will not learn the lesson, and if they ever win again (I think they will) it will be because they take a page from Obama and Clinton before him and nominate a slick, sleazy smooth talker. Rubio fits that bill and, as a bonus, he's a Hispanic.

A Romney victory would not have been a victory for small government or the free market. He would have been President AlmostBama. As W was Cowboy Clinton, as Clinton was Bush Senior's Shadow.

The Tea Party was an attempt to fix the GOP; instead the GOP voters stayed home.

Time for the Tea Party to join the REAL Tea Party.
