Tax Return Controversy: Romney should refuse Obama's latest offer. Here is why.

Obama has always despised the corporate world of big
business.  His one big chance to put business-for-profit
in its place is slipping away.  He needs a second term to
finish taking down Corporate America

<<<<  While Obama was busy criticizing the self-interests of corporations and banks,  Romney was busy making a living "from scratch."

I want a president who began with nothing and did what I would want to do with my financial life.

Obama is just jealous that Romney is successful in the private sector when he is not  --  and that is why Obama continues to bash Romney's character.  This business about Romney's tax returns is a part of this scenario.

The latest news is this:  Obama campaign offers Romney 5-year tax disclosure.

You should know that Romney has released 2 years of returns,  the same total McCain released in 2008.  Tax returns were "no big deal" in 2008.  There should be no reason for a change in interest [by Obama] today,  unless,  of course,  he intends to wage class war against Romney.

The IRS is not investigating Romney for any of his tax returns.  That,  alone,  is good enough for me.

Understand that Obama only wants more ammunition with which he can continue his character assassination of Romney.  That is the underlying issue at stake,  in this continuing battle.

And what about those other years,  the 7 years that,  yesterday,  Obama was sooooo concerned about but,  today,  he does not give a flip?  What about that?

The fact that Obama wants to trade tax returns for favors from his campaign is a first in American politics.  Seriously.  Never done before. . . . . . . . . . . . and childish.

John Kerry turned in 20 years or some ridiculous number of tax returns,  like anyone cares.  Problem,  his campaign manager,  at the time,  never got around to submitting to whoever.  You will just have to take my word for this one.  I read it but did not copy it over.  I did find a "skeleton" of this story on Google, but I can no longer find that.  The point is this:  who cares?  Have any of us every seen a single politician's tax return (or a married politician for that matter)?

Update: the article no longer exists but here is it's   "Google skeleton:"

Romney did submit 23 years of forms to McCain's offices when he was being vetted for VP and,  according to McCain,  all was well,  then.

Obama just wants to beat Romney over the head with his tax shelters and foreign deposits . . . . . . . . . all of which are legal and above board.

Here is the real problem:  Romney is a successful business man and Obama is not.

End of story.
