As most know, Midknight Review uses Rasmussen as the
closest thing to a nonpartisan polling firm. On Friday, before
Obama made his power play on immigration, his approval rating was 48%.
Today, four days after the fact, his rating stands at 45% and
the gap between Obama and Romney has widened in favor of the GOP candidate.
Since the first of April, Romney has had four "break away"
periods of approval, and is now in his fifth such period. By
contrast, Obama has had just one such period.
I expect the race to see more definition sometime after
Romney selects his running mate. Whether folks agree with Obama's
decision, and some pollsters have the public agreeing with Obama at a ratio of
2 to 1, the fact remains that this has not translated into approval
points for the Slickster. He has too much history, too much
failure, too many contradictions and broken promises to see a single
decision being a "game changer." This is an election for Romney
to lose.
Ramussen, non partisan?
ReplyDeleteHAHAHAHA!!!!!
What would you know about "non partisan?"
ReplyDeleteToday:
