<<<< "We" have been fooling around with this ingrate since last October. Now he wants to negotiate the release of the sequestered documents, forgetting, of course, that they are not his documents.
Update #2 (3:05pm pt) Holder did not bring the documents. "Contempt" is both a fact of this Administration and a possible legal action, tomorrow,
Update #1: John Boehner, Speaker of the House, may not allow a vote to hold the Attorney General in contempt. If this is the case, Boehner, who is supported by folks such as myself, is about to become extremely unpopular. We will not know this outcome until tomorrow, at the earliest.

If Chairman Issa sticks to his position as stated last
Thursday, the Wednesday morning contempt
vote remains a possibility. Eric
Holder, our lawless Attroney
General, missed a deadline for a
meaningful document dump, this
morning. No documents were presented to the House committee investigation Fast and Furious. There is one final chance to avoid this House
vote. Issa has agreed to meet with
Holder during the five o’clock hour,
tonight.
Issa first issued his subpoena of Holder on October 11, 2011. 146,000 documents are in play. Holder has given the committee only 7,200 and 85% of those documents were redacted (blacken out via a magic marker type process).
Apparently, Holder
intends to bring a collection of documents to the meeting, this evening,
but will hand them over only if the House investigative committee agrees
to postpone or cancel the contempt vote.
Holder intends to use the documents as if they were hostages. In a word, Chairman Issa has said “No.”
This is a developing story - an update will be added before noon, Pacific time.
