Post script: the Left loves to pretend that Palin and others are "stupid" as they come up with one example of misspoken speech. Well, as usual, the Genius Left is hung by its own rhetoric. Here are a few examples:
Biden went to Providence, Rhode Island,
yesterday. Under his supervision, the written announcement read,
"Providence, Road Island."
This bit of nonsense is only rivaled
by Obama's use of "Corpse" as he repeatedly spoke of the Marine
"Corpse man" rather than Marine Corpsman (pronounced "Core -
man" ). Listen to the video. You will come away with the
realization that this genius did not know how to pronounce the word "Corp"
in its given context. You should know that a "corpse" is a dead
body; a "corpsman" is quite the opposite.
But the more astounding revelation was the occasion when Obama spoke
of campaigning "in 57 states." One might think this a "slip of the
lip" until he turned to someone off camera as he said, "I think
one left to go."
Conservatives made a big deal of the "57" count,
comparing it to the 57
Conservatives made a big deal of the "57" count, comparing it to the 57 Muslim states who are members of the United Nations. The fact of the matter, however, is that he simply didn't know how many states there were.
Holding a press conference outside Honolulu, Nov. 16, 2011,
he referred to Hawaii as Asia, when he said, "When I
meet with world leaders, what's striking -- whether it's in Europe or here in
Asia..."
On Sept. 22, 2011, he came up with this duzzy:
"We're the country that built the Intercontinental
Railroad" instead of "transcontinental."
