According to PEW Research, Republicans believe that
immigration remains a top priority. Interesting. It was Obama who
made the promise of "comprehensive immigration reform by the end of
2009."
Of course, when he had the opportunity, he did
absolutely nothing (in 2009 and 2010), and, now, has moved on
from this issue.
“Use and abuse and move on,” seems to be Obama's
campaign strategy. He made promises to the Hispanic community that he
never intended on keeping, just to get their vote.
In 2008, he swore a
move away from "Big Money," and, then, funneled more than
7 trillion with a "T" to the banking industry via the back door we
know as TARP. While he was promising the end of Big Banking’s
influence, he and Elizbeth Warren were
setting up the eventual transfer of trillions
- again, WHILE he was promising the very opposite.
He claimed to support McCain/Feingold campaign finance
reforms, something he vote into law as a freshman Senator, then, immediately violated reform confidence by ignoring that reform as he ran
for election in 2008 (his very first broken promise) and has announced a
decision to do the same, again, with this election.
He promised to be a bi-partisan uniter, but only met
with GOP leadership three times during all of 2009.
He went to Cairo and gave a speech to "all of the
Muslim world," only to have that world blow up in his ignorant face,
with the coming of the Arab Spring.
And now we know that he has lost interest in the subject of immigration reform, and has decided to effectively move on and
away from the issue.
Who is the food stamp president?
