Here is the headline, Abbas is punished by $200m cut in aid from US, and here is the truth.

On an annual basis, the U.S. gives the Palestinians $600 million a year and has been doing so since 2008 (link here for source). That pencils out to 2.4 billion dollars in aid as a matter of budgetary concern over the past four years. Add to that, the forgotten fact that Obama worked a deal, in February of 2009, just after he got his Stimulus bill passed (Feb. 17, 2009) to funnel $900 million to Gaza for additional aid and food. Add to that total, another $400 million given to Gaza in June of 2010 (link here for our source), and you have a total of 3.7 billion dollars, most of which was orchestrated by Barack Hussein Obama.

Understand that the above makes for a good headline . . . . . "Obama gets tough with Palestine." But, there is a 70% chance that this is only a headline, that there will be no follow through on this threat. More than this, we will continue to give Palestine money. The 200 million in cuts leaves them with a net net of 3.5 billion.
