What is without debate is this: the jobs recovery began months and months before any Stimulus money filtered into the economy. Period.

Bureau of Labor Statistics chart, recently updated back through 2009, shows a steadily improving jobs market (we are talking "jobs" not "employment" ). So, what is actually happening here? Do we give credit to Obama or to the free market capitalist system?

The question is a rather easy one to answer. By the end of May, a comparatively good month on this chart, only 6% of the Stimulus had actually been spent with no new construction/private sector jobs in the mix. Refer to our source site here.

With that FACT in mind, there is only one conclusion to be made: the private sector business owner is driving this "recovery," not Mr. Obama - in fact, we can say ". . . . . not Obama at all." No mon, no fun, as they say. Obama cannot take credit for stimulating the economy when, in point of historical fact, that has not been the case. It is clear that the jobs recovery began well before Obama's "stimulus" had a chance of contributing to that recovery. Take Obama and send him back to the tough side of Chicago and the jobs recovery would chart no differently. ---- jds
