Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu reportedly is planning payback for President Obama’s dismissing Mr. Netanyahu’s objections to the Iran nuclear deal last year. Mr. Netanyahu is said to be rallying moderate Arabs to thwart Mr. Obama’s bid to become the Secretary-General of the United Nations after he leaves the White House next year.
Mr. Obama has already discussed the issue with Republican, Democratic and Jewish officials in the United States, according to Kuwaiti newspaper Al-Jarida.
Mission Statement: This blog reviews the news of the day in light of 242 years of American history. "Nationalism," a modern day pejorative, has been our country's politic throughout history, until 2008. Obama changed that narrative. Trump is seeking a return to our historical roots. Midknight Review supports this return to normality.
Did you know that Obama plans to be head of the U.N. after he leaves office, an effort on his part to destroy U.S. sovereignty ??
Washington Times:
Proof positve of Obama's record setting unpopularity as a governor of this once great nation:
Under Mr. Obama, Democrats have lost 13 net Senate seats, 69 House
seats, 11 governorships (down to 17 from a high of 28), a whopping 913 state legislature seats and 30
state legislature chambers, according to analysis from the Washington Post. A total of more than 4,000 state, local and agency seats have "flipped" to the GOP since the first days of Obama. The power shift has been mind-boggling and, yet, the mainstream media does not appear to be aware of this on-going disaster that is Obama, Hussein.
This does not happen to a party or a president who legislates per the will of the people. There is something critically wrong with polling results that give Obama high marks for popularity while costing his party a greater loss of political power than any Democrat president American history. The election in 1920 (after Woodrow Wilson's two terms) saw the Republicans win with 60% of the popular vote to 34% for the Dems, the worse percentage loss for the Dems . . . ever. But no Democrat has taken his party from super-majorities in both houses of Congress to where the Democrat Party is today.
In 2009, I wrote on more than one occasion, that Obama might be the worse thing to ever happen to the Democrat Party. Turns out I was right . . . . . even before the coming election with Hillary.

While Dems have the college age vote, leadership postion in the GOP for the younger generation far exceed that of the Democrats.
Interest in the coming election, for the Democrat voter, is in the tank. The New York Times notes that part of the reason for the lack of interest may be due to a lack of up-and-coming Democrats
in Congress. The average age of the top three Democratic leaders in the
House is 75, while the average age for the top three Republican leaders
is 48.
Republicans have done an excellent job in recent years in promoting young talent. The new Speaker of the House is 45-year-old Paul Ryan, and many of the party’s top voices in the Senate are under 50 (including Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio, who are each running for president). Meanwhile, Democrats’ top voices are over 60.

General Election predictions have been wrong "for ever."
Jan. 1, 1960: If Democrats nominate the very young, Catholic John F. Kennedy, they will throw the election away. I am a Kennedy Democrat and a Reagan Independent. Too bad that distinction is extinct.
1964: President Lyndon B. Johnson, a “Southern conservative,” could be opposed by a Northern liberal in the primaries. But he was JFK's Vice President and won the sympathy vote.
1968: LBJ’s got a tough fight, but he’s the favorite for reelection. Nixon won.
1972: President Richard Nixon is losing to several top Democrats in the polls; Vietnam could sink a second president. Although very unpopular, Nixon won reelection.
1976: Jimmy Who? I worked for his election. Sorry.
1980: If President Jimmy
Carter can “whip Ted Kennedy’s ass” in the primaries, he’ll surely
defeat far-right Ronald Reagan in the fall. Reagan won big time.
1984: Reagan, called a “failed
president” after a deep recession and little progress in foreign
policy, looks to be the sixth consecutive president to leave office
early. But the nation was recovering from the Carter Recession and Reagan won in a historic landslide.
1988: Vice President George
H.W. Bush is a wimp. He’s drawn major GOP opponents, and the electorate
seems ready to switch back to the Democrats. Of course, he won election.
1992: No way can President Bush, the liberator of Kuwait, lose to some scandal-drenched hick from Arkansas. "Read my lips" and Ross Perot ended Bush 41's re-election bid and gave us Bill Clinton.
1996: Ever since the 1994 GOP landslide, it’s preordained that President Bill Clinton will be a one-termer. Wrong.
2000: Clinton escaped ouster
over the Lewinsky scandal, but it’ll ensure no third term for Democrats.
Plus, Vice President Al Gore is a dud on the trail. George W. Bush will
win easily. Gore won the popular vote but lost the Electoral College.
2004: With solid leads in the polls and Gore’s endorsement, how is anyone going to stop Howard Dean? He lost the nomination to the traitor, John Kerry who lost the election to the patriot, GW Bush.
2008: It’s Hillary Clinton for the Democrats, of course. John McCain’s got no shot at the Republican nomination, that’s for sure. "Ted Cruz will ruin the GOP, if nominated !!!" . . . but McCain beat him to the punch in 2008. His moronic campaign gave the Dems their most powerful majority in modern history.
2012: The economy is weak and President Barack Obama is very vulnerable. Republicans take to saying, “Even my dog could beat him.” And Establishment Republicans lost yet another General Election.
2016: It’s Hillary Clinton for the Democrats, of course. The Republican finalists will be Donald Trump and Ted Cruz. . . . . . . . . . and we have to wait and see the end game, here.

70% of the folks believe in climate change; on 27% believe it is man caused.
<<< They want you to see this as the end of times for these penguins . . . all because of mankind. Too bad they don't know how to swim, right? If they can't swim to the next ice cube, this is a disaster.
A new survey finds that 70 percent of Americans believe the climate is changing.
The poll from Monmouth University, released Tuesday, found a stark partisan divide on most issues surrounding climate change, including whether it is happening, how serious it is and what should be done about it.
The research, conducted mostly before nearly 200 nations voted last month in Paris on an international climate accord, found that Democrats (63 percent) are much more likely than Republicans (18 percent) to see climate change as a very serious issue . . . . . But the support is complicated. Pollsters found that only 27 percent of respondents agree . . . . . . . that human activity is the main cause of climate change.
“The data exposes the extent to which this has become a partisan political issue in the U.S. rather than a scientific issue,” Tony MacDonald, director of Monmouth University’s Urban Coast Institute, said in a statement accompanying the poll results.
The survey did find support for actions to stop climate change, though the questions were worded mostly to focus on the effects of global warming, like rising sea levels and increased extreme weather.
“The polling shows that Americans believe we are all very much in this together,” MacDonald said. “Nearly two thirds of all respondents and three quarters of younger adults want action from our leaders, even if some in Congress don’t believe there’s a problem.”

Phony tears mean nothing: Where were his tears in 2009 when he could have crafted Congressional legislation to his liking and his GOP opposition had no power to stop him?
Where were his tears in 2009 when he could have crafted Congressional legislation to his liking and his GOP opposition had no power to stop him? His alligator tears mean nothing in the light of his profound legislative failures . . . . . I mean, he waits seven stinking years, and, just in time for the new election season, comes up his nothing-burger executive action onslaught.
Time and time again, Democrats have proven that they have little regard for "the rule of law."

Editor's notes: It really makes no difference as to what this election is about. All you need to know is that this is a general election and officials have limited the voting population to native born Hawaiians to the exclusion of all other ethnicities.
How would you feel if the election proposition was about reparations paid to blacks and only blacks were allowed to vote. Well, that is what is happening in Hawaii. Native Hawaiians benefit from this election, and, they are the only ethnic group allowed to vote.
