Editor:  for this poll to be dependable and accurate, Biden would have to win virtually every state in the Union in order to win by 16 points.  Anyon believe this ??

Dingell: 'I don't believe these numbers' showing Biden with big lead  —  Lansing — Two top Michigan Democrats urged caution Monday for supporters of Joe Biden, arguing that backers of the former vice president shouldn't become complacent despite favorable polling ahead of the November election.

When we read a poll without allowing for the Media Stimulus at/of the moment, we misunderstand the poll's ultimate impact. All polls are but a measure of opinion at a particular moment in time. A failure to allow for the historical influences of "that moment in time," and we fail to understand the ultimate impact of said poll.

Most recent Gallup Poll fineds that 52% of those surveyed believe Trump should be removed from office while 46% say "no" to that issue.  Understand that Gallup gets to "52%"  because they asked 8% more Democrats than Republicans.  In other words,  minus the 8% weighted survey,  you have a one to one poll,  straight up,  and only 44% polling for impeachment/removal.  You should know that if you asked more Democrats than Conservative,  you may get a poll that recommends impeachment/removal, and that is exactly what has happened.

In June,  this same poll,  showed 45% for impeachment/removal and 53%  against impeachment/removal.  Again,  the 8%  marker still applies,  giving us only 37% of the population in favor of removal.

If you factor in Media Stimulus at the moment,  the June percentages were in response to the notion that the Mueller Investigation had failed to find an impeachable offence,  while the October stimulus was all about the whistleblower, his complaint coupled with little or no time for a qualified defense versus the Complaint.  Expect to see a reversal in these percentages if the whistleblower is abandoned for a new and different strategy.

Conclusion:  the October poll versus the June poll does not demonstrate a trend line, but rather a differing response to different historical issues presented by the media.  If Gallup was measuring the publics' view of impeachment as a result of the Mueller Report in BOTH polls,  then "yes,"  you have a trend line.  Otherwise,  all you have is a public response to new stimulus AT THE MOMENT excluding any sort of trend.   

For the first time in recent Democrat politics, Biden loses his lead in the Real Clear Politic's poll averages . . . . and the trend line shows a continuing fall from grace.

RCP’s polling average on Tuesday has her besting the former Democratic front runner with 26.6% support for the presidential nomination, while Biden slips behind her at 26.4%. Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders follows up with 14.6%.

Editor: What is never the subject is the fact that Bernie's candidacy is all but over.  I am tired of his angry rhetoric anyway. 

A year out and Trump has a strong electorial following per the most recent IBD/TIPP poll:

The IBD/TIPP Poll – taken September 26 to October 3 shows Trump leading Warren among independent voters by six percentage points, 49 percent to 43 percent.

Trump also leads Sanders among independent voters by four points, 48 percent to 44 percent. A head-to-head matchup shows Sanders surpassing Trump by three points overall – 49 percent to 46 percent.

Biden performs the best against Trump in a general election matchup – 51 percent to 44 percent according to TIPP's  poll. However, Biden's  lead is five points less from the early September poll when he led Trump 54 percent to 42 percent.

Another twitter poll and Trump wins again. Both polls set up by Trump's enemies. There has to be a significance to these polls, no?

President Obama’s job approval rating hits a record low this week, as a majority of Americans say his administration has mostly failed at growing the economy, creating jobs, improving health care and the country’s image.   That’s according to a Fox News poll released Wednesday.

For the first time in a Fox News poll, fewer than four voters in ten -- 38 percent -- approve of President Obama’s job performance. . . . . .  Approval of Obama among Democrats stands at 71 percent, near its 69 percent record low (September 2013). For independents, 28 percent approve, which is also near the 25 percent all-time low among this group (July 2013). And approval of Obama among Republicans hits a new low of five percent.

[Job creation]

Overall, a 59-percent majority thinks the White House has mostly failed at creating jobs  . . . . . . Likewise, 56 percent feel it has failed on growing the economy. That’s also up from 52 percent.

The greatest erosion is on improving America’s image around the world -- something Obama vowed to do once in office. . . . .    33 percent say mostly succeeded and 59 percent mostly failed.

[Transparency] 

Obama also promised to have the most transparent administration in American history. Voters are again unconvinced: 59 percent believe Obama has mostly failed to run a transparent administration.

[Healthcare]

On health care, 36 percent say the administration has improved it, while 57 percent think it has failed to do so.

[Homeland security]

The best of the issues tested for the White House is homeland security: 41 percent think the administration has mostly succeeded at making the country safer. 

[Independents opinion of Obama]

Majorities of independents say the White House has mostly failed in every area tested, including 68 percent who feel that way on improving America’s image.

[Obama's handling of the Ukraine crisis]  

As the crisis in Ukraine escalated, the poll finds by a 33-56 percent margin, most voters disapprove of the president’s handling of foreign policy -- a new low for Obama on this issue. In December, 39 percent approved and 52 percent disapproved.

The Fox News poll is based on landline and cell phone interviews with 1,002 randomly chosen registered voters nationwide and was conducted under the joint direction of Anderson Robbins Research (D) and Shaw & Company Research (R) from March 2 to March 4, 2014. It has a margin of sampling error of plus or minus three percentage points for the total sample.
