Don't want to believe that Obama was not being fully truthful, in his Thursday speech? Would you believe the Left leaning Associated Press?

WASHINGTON (AP) — President Barack Obama made some notable omissions Thursday night in his remarks about the unilateral actions he's taking on immigration.
A look at his statements and how they compare with the facts:
OBAMA: "It does not grant citizenship, or the right to stay here permanently, or offer the same benefits that citizens receive - only Congress can do that. All we're saying is we're not going to deport you."
THE FACTS: He's saying, and doing, more than that. The changes also will make those covered eligible for work permits, allowing them to be employed in the country legally and compete with citizens and legal residents for better-paying jobs.
___
OBAMA: "Although this summer, there was a brief spike in unaccompanied children being apprehended at our border, the number of such children is now actually lower than it's been in nearly two years."
THE FACTS: The numbers certainly surged this year, but it was more than a "brief spike." The number of unaccompanied children apprehended at the border has been on the rise since the 2011 budget year. That year about 16,000 children were found crossing the border alone. In 2012, the Border Patrol reported more than 24,000 children, followed by more than 38,800 in 2013. In the last budget year, more than 68,361 children were apprehended.
___
OBAMA: "Overall, the number of people trying to cross our border illegally is at its lowest level since the 1970s. Those are the facts."
THE FACTS: Indeed, in the 2014 budget year the Border Patrol made 486,651 arrests of border crossers, among the fewest since the early 1970s. But border arrests have been on the rise since 2011.
The decline in crossings is not purely, or perhaps even primarily, due to the Obama administration. The deep economic recession early in his presidency and the shaky aftermath made the U.S. a less attractive place to come for work. The increase in arrests since 2011 also can be traced in part to the economy — as the recovery improved, more people came in search of opportunity.
___
OBAMA: "When I took office, I committed to fixing this broken immigration system. And I began by doing what I could to secure our borders."
THE FACTS: He overlooked the fact that he promised as a candidate for president in 2008 to have an immigration bill during his first year in office and move forward on it quickly. He never kept that promise to the Latino community.

Associated Press writers Calvin Woodward and Jim Kuhnhenn contributed to this report.

Obama's immigration solution via green card expansion is more smoke and mirrors than "fundamental transformation" and here is why:

The Washington Times reportsThe immigration  . . . . . [has] solicited a printer able to handle a “surge” of 9 million green cards “to support possible future immigration-reform initiative requirements.”
In an ordinary year, about 1 million green cards are issued, and over the life of this contract the company is expected to produce up to 34 million cards, a figure representing an increase of the population of the United States by 10 percent.
The cards do not come with automatic voter registration, but that’s obviously [“obvious” according to the Times reporter] what the scheme portends. President Obama’s promised “executive actions” to bring about this enormous wave of amnesty constitute a transparent and cynical ploy to expand the Democratic voter base, creating a permanent majority.

Editor’’s notes:  I think it important to note that the 34 million potential green card estimate,  is not something that will happen entirely on Obama’s watch.  Hillary,  if elected,  no doubt would continue this contract,  but an opposition [conservative] candidate need not admit to an existential or systemic demand for the continuation and could stop further abuse of the “green card” system.

Point #2:  Establishment Republicans such as Lindsey Graham and the detestable John McCain,  have helped add to the power of the presidency,  over the years.  And,  it is this power or authority to which Obama appeals,  in making this decision.  In other words,  Obama is only doing what he has been allowed to do per previous GOP sponsored legislation.  McCain will stand and whine about this development (Obama’s abuse of the federal green card system) but he is partially responsible for the events of the day, in this regard.

Point #3:  The reader should note that the initial goal of this green card expansion is “9 million.”  Most observers believe that less than 3 million illegal aliens will sign up for these work permits.  Understand that conservative Patriots are not the only folks who do not trust the Government.  Add to their number,  the “illegals.”  While conservatives have to deal with a Progressive/Marxist inspired, weaponized federal bureaucracy, the typical “illegal” has much the same issue.  And Obama has not helped in the regard.  His record as to deportations over the years,  even if that policy has changed,  works against a heavy participation rate,  should the decision be made to open the system to green card expansion.  The man (Obama) talks out of both sides of his mouth,  often in the same speeches,  and the illegal is as aware of this as anyone.

Conclusion:  In the end,  we have another typical Obama “solution,”  that is more blow than show.  He has not made any fundamental change to the system;  he has only abused the powers already given to him by a blotted and compromised Establishment Class.  He may increase the participation level within the Hispanic community,  but this action will not actually add to the voter roles of the Democrat Party in any noticeable degree.

When it comes to this sudden immigration crisis, Obama has no plan, the pictures [4 of them] prove it, and he is losing his own base over this matter. Oh, AND WHAT ABOUT THE KIDS. Anyone think this is the solution??

<<< Obama prohibits the use of cameras because this is what these "youth centers" for the young alien migration looks like.  And,  there are hundreds of these refugee centers scattered throughout our once great nation.

As Congress struggles to agree on emergency funding in
response to the crisis, Democrats are taking the White House to task any chance they get.    They are giving floor speeches, arguing the administration doesn’t understand the root cause of the crisis. They are sparring with administration officials in closed-door discussions. And they say Obama should have better consulted lawmakers before backing a policy change deeply opposed by their party. . . .   you can read the full article at Politico,  here,  but this excerpt is the subject of the moment.

Editor’s notes:  Understand that those directly effective by the border crisis or Hispanic American living at and near the border.  It is their schools and  hospitals, that are being flooded.  It is their ranches being used for passage away from the border,  their homes and families being shot at.  It is not just a white problem.  This is effecting all who live at or near the border.  And these people are Democrats.

Understand that the larger Democrat control municipalities are not being targeted for incoming aliens.  Why?  Because most of them are controlled
by Democrat majorities,  and the coward in the White House has a strategy that avoids their specific criticism.  But the unpopularity of this illegal migration is mounting and being directed at the Democrat Party and their shameless,  know-nothing leaders,  B Obama and his wife,  Mrs Obama.  The “Plan” is not working,  btw.  The whole thing is blowing up in the face of the Progressive/Socialists,  and this is a problem that will run on into November of this year  -  unsolved and unpopular at a time when the Dems need good press and happy solutions.

Obama's biggest problem, today, is Obama. The immigration crisis is absolute proof.

WASHINGTON — As Republicans blame President Barack Obama’s executive actions for the crisis along the border, the president assured members of his own party Wednesday that he won’t back down from his plans to ease deportations.

Editor’s notes:  Understand that he has already committed to this slowdown.  In 2008,  8,000 minors were caught crossing the border with 4,000 working through the legal system and sent back.

In 2013,  20,000 minors came into this country with only 1600 making their way through the system and being sent back.

In other words,  this should not be “news,”  and it certainly is not news to Obama.  There is simply no way he is this out of touch with reality,  at least,  as relates to the evolving crisis.  “Flooding the system” in the face of a system/legal weakness,  is a trick often used by community organizers and domestic social revolutionaries.  THAT is what is going on.

Where he fails in this tactic,  however,  is his choice to ignore two important rules for radicals,  as defined by Saul Alinsky.

The first is rule # 6 which reads:  “A good tactic is one that your people enjoy. If your people are not having a ball doing it,  there is something very wrong with the tactic”  (p. 128 Rules for Radicals – 1989 printing).  Obama simply cannot sustain his radical reform without the will of the people,  especially in a society free to vote he and his Red Loving minions out of office.  In polls take over the past three days,  his approval rating for his handling of this border crisis is down to 28% in one poll and 33% in another  -  both network polling results.

A second problem as defined by Alinsky is found at rule #12:  “You cannot risk being trapped by the enemy  (that would be conservatives and reasonable Democrats) in his sudden agreement with your demand and saying,  ‘You’re right – we don’t know what to do about this issue.  Now tell us”  (p. 130 , Rules for Radicals)

And the fact of this matter is clear:  Obama has no clue as to how to solve this problem.  Understand that the current migration is not the problem.  Rather,  the unsustainable issue is the notion of “open borders,”  itself.

Obama's pledge to stand his ground is nothing short of a declaration of domestic suicide.  Already,  communities are having to move budgeted funds away from local,  domestic needs like education,  fire and police protection and the care of their indigent populations,  and redirecting those funds to the care of unwanted populations being forced up them by Obama.

Sadly,  conservatives can thank Obama for his rank stupidity in this.  Obviously,  he is not the student of Alinsky,  many of us thought him to be.    Rather,  his arrogant dismissal as to “proven” revolutionary tactics may well prove to be his final demise.

Thank gawd he is not an intelligent organizer.
