Just to be clear: a federal court blocked Trump's limitations on third world asylum seekers, so Trump comes up with an agreement holding Guatemala accountable for asylum seekers passing through its borders. Our courts can't stop this. Brilliant.

Daily Callers;   President Donald Trump announced Friday that he struck a deal with Guatemala for the Central American country to serve as a safe third country for asylum seekers.

Under a safe third country agreement, Guatemala would be required to accept some asylum seekers within its own borders, helping to stem the overflow of migrants headed toward the southern U.S. border. A migrant from Honduras, for example, would first seek asylum in Guatemala or Mexico before the U.S.

 The safe third country deal comes on the
heels of the Department of Justice (DOJ) and DHS issuing new rules on asylum seekers rendering them ineligible for protection if they fail to first apply in another country they traverse through on their way to the U.S. The rule, which would effectively neuter most of the asylum claims from Central Americans at the U.S. border, was later blocked by a federal judge.

Proof that the border is not secure, and has never been. My question: "Why does this have to be a partisan issue to anyone who is not blind?"

Where we do have a serious fence,  we lack the personnel to police that part of the border.  In the top photo,  you are looking at part of the 700 miles of well-designed fencing.  But the remaining 1,300 miles of border has "fencing" that looks very similar to the border photos I have included in this post.  After looking at these pictures,  you will understand why Conservatives laugh when Obama and his cronies argue that the fence is "complete."                                                              

What is laughable, below, is the "gateway" in this portion of the fence.
