Homo-sexuals object to Conservative family values and Huckabee is forced out of Country Music Association.

Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee has resigned from the board of the Country Music Association Foundation over criticism that his Christian views do no reflect the music industry, Fox News reports.

On Wednesday, Huckabee became a new member of the board that oversees the charitable branch of the CMA. On Thursday, he resigned after critics said he was too socially conservative and too Christian for country music.

One of his critics was homosexual country music publicist Jason Owen who objects to Huckabee’s traditional family values.

Politico, the Left leaning internet giant, pretends to be dealing with an election cycle problem for Fox News. Silly.

Politico sees an evolving problem for Fox News, what do with the several paid advisors thinking about running for president in 2012. You will recognize the three, but not Rick Santorum in the lower right - and we do mean Right.

The "thinkers" at Politico apparently think that any or all of these folks will continue to draw pay from Fox while expecting Fox to cover their campaigns.

Apparently, Politico does not know there are laws that prevent this from happening. More than this, not one of those pictured would ask Fox to continue their "for pay" association. Huckabee is the most involved of the four and, for that reason, he may be the least likely to run. We shall see.

For for certain, Politico has dreamed up a problem that does not exist.

The GOP race for the presidency is beginning to heat up. Here are the top five, as of today.

Editor's notes: Here are the top five GOP candidates, announced and unannounced. Newt intend to make a final decision in February of next year. Romney is definitely in, but will not begin serious campaign work until after the midterms. Palin is the most popular within the GOP populace. Tim Pawlenty, Minnesota's Governor, is an extremely qualified candidate but, perhaps, the least known of the five. Mike Huckabee, a likable opponent, has yet to express an interest in running. While his TV show on Fox Weekends, was an obvious effort at keeping him in the head lights of popular opinion, he may have decided that political "show business" is more his calling. In addition to the Fox weekend show, he produces one minute political commentary aired on more than 400 stations, nation wide. And then there is the dark horse in the room - Sarah Palin. Like it or not, she can gather an audience of thousands with the snap of her fingers. Her popularity is growing while her priorities remain in place. More importantly, she does not kiss up to the GOP establishment - a major plus in her favor. Understand the conservative base of the GOP is very much anti-old white RINO. Palin refuses to allow herself to be incorporated into that community of "conservative" impostors, her understandable loyalty to McCain aside.

Expect to see these five joined by others, perhaps a mysterious "unknown," after the first of the year. We are 18 months from the Iowa caucus and the real beginning of the election cycle, 2012. --- jds
