In unprecedented move, Treasury orders Trump's name printed on stimulus checks
Is Trump benefiting from the Corona Virus, politically? OF COURSE he is, but it is also true that every effective government administrator benefits politically when preceived as doing a noteworthy job. From Cuomo in New York to Pretty Boy in California, ALL politicians score political/election enhancing points when they govern effectively and the people know it.
Trump has every right to have his name printed on the recovery checks few will ever see. Cuomo scores points every time he holds one of his hour-long daily pressers. "They" are mad simply because he (Trump) never seems to miss an opportunity to play the political game. And there is not a single Democrat who is not doing the same thing.
There is nothing more redundant in political speak, than to point out that a particular politician is being "political."
