Lindsay and McConnell want an abbreviated impeachment trial.

Here is what the GOP can do to insure a trial occurs: McConnell plans on having a Senate vote to dismiss the Dems' charges. All that is needed is 4 or 5 Republicans votinng "no" with the minority on the McConnell/Graham amendment and the trial is on.

The GOP needs "equal time." This is not the time to be nice or mature. I don't think McConnell and Lindsay (both Patriot heros) can prevent a trial. Time will tell.
