After praising the Founders as “geniuses” for devising the American system of government, Booker implied that an acknowledgement of the racism and misogyny typical of the Founders’ era required a rejection of constitutional originalism.

“I love that my colleagues keep going back to the Constitution but understand this: I laud our Founders, I think they were geniuses. But I understand that millions of Americans understand that they were also flawed people,” Booker said.

 Instead of letting go of the past.  Cory Booker is typical to the Black Activist AntiAmerican moverment,  taking old world standard of 240 years ago and pretending that the very document he rejects,  i.e. the Constitution,  was not the written standard used to defeat those things he complains about:   racism in the Democrat South,  anti-female prohibitions, and on and on.   Never mind that hundreds of thousands of white folks fought and died to enforce the Consitituion and its declaration that "that all men are created equal."  

In the end,  Cory Booker is a phony "patriot,"  not telling folks that the representative of records had told him hours before the committee meeting,  this morning,  that "he could use the documents publicaly."  He knew this,  but went ahead with his sham challenge to the GOP leadership of the Senate Committee.  He is a cheap suit,  an impostor of intellectual presense,  a liar and a phony.
