Last night, there was a local election in Texas. It involved a seat held by the Dems for more than 130 years. And the Republican candidate won that election.

A sign of good things to come for the GOP? Who knows for certain but, for certain, the Democrats do not care, nor, do they believe they are seriously losing the long term political war.
