Trump neither raised the flags nor was untimely in giving honor to a petulent John McCain

The Hill:   Trump also sought out controversy this past week by refusing to issue a statement following the death of McCain, one of his most vocal critics and political foes. The flags at the White House were also raised from half-staff less than 48 hours after the senator’s death.

Editor:  Turns out McCain was the bigger jerk,  banning dozens of folks from his funeral,  including loyal staffers and his 2008 running mate, Sarah Palin,  for various reasons, some of which are not apparent,  to this day.  Trump's wonderful statement honoring the undersving McCain,  given in person at the Evangelical Summit,  and his order that all federal buildings set their flags at half mast,  were acts to be praised,  not ignored.  He was not the one who brought the flags back to full mast.  His order to set all flags at half mast,  was his response to whoever raised those flags.
