Trump will not be invited to McCain's funeral. The McCains hate Trump.

Editor's notes:  By 2006 ,  I and millions of other conservatives had completely given up on John McCain.  His challenge of Bush in 2004.  After he failed in his presidential bid, his bitterness spoiled over into  rants against hard right conservatives and the evangelical church.  2006 was the year the GOP lost both houses of congress,  in part,  because of a conservative rebellion against the likes of John McCain.  In other words,  2006 was the demonstrable end of the conservative voters' willingness to compromise with the Liberal Left.  No more name calling from the bastards on the Left.  No more accepting their pretense of acceptance,  of being the party of The Big Tent.  No more of their fame job against the Right. Me,  I am done with that  crap.  And there are millions just like me.  Not willing to compromise as we have done years without end.  Willing to walk away from the GOP,  but, not ready for a street battle. So we believe in the cops and the courts,  but as soon as those two entities fail us,  that is when the war actually begins.  I hasten to add,  "we" have confidence in law enforcement, that is why you see our cops supported by the Right side of the aisle and not by Left Wing leadership.

Daily Caller:  Meghan McCain said on Friday that she is “never going to forgive” President Trump for his attacks on her father, Senator John McCain.
“The View” co-host made the comments during an interview in Austin, Texas at the Lyndon B. Johnson presidential library. She was there to accept the LBJ Liberty and Justice for All Award on behalf of Sen. McCain, according to The Hill.
“[Trump’s] comments are never going to be OK with me, especially at this moment in my life. I’m never going to forgive it. I’m never going  . . . .
to move on from it,” said McCain. “But [at work] I’m a political commentator, and I’m trying to call balls and strikes as I see them.”    The Arizona senator’s daughter also told media that she no longer takes “private phone calls from the Trump administration.”
