PBS trying to influence conservative talk. It might be good but there will never be another William F Buckley.

PBS launching new conservative political talk show  —  NEW YORK (AP) — Columnist Michael Gerson and commentator Amy Holmes are teaming to start a conservative-oriented talk show on PBS that takes its cue from William F. Buckley's “Firing Line,” which aired from 1966 to 1999.

Editor:  Buckley did not approve of the in-your-face fight extended by the next generation conservative talk show hosts such as Limbaugh.  Don't get me wrong,  Limbaugh almost HAD to be the way he was in the beginning,  to get noticed,  but his last 10 years,  Rush has moderated his own radio talk without losing his keen sense of humor and his profound logic.  Each generation redefines the previous generation   . . . .   true for most venues in life.
